There was an extremely threatening tone to his message; telling me that 'me or my attorney' needed to call him back immediately, yet in his messages he wouldn't tell me who he was calling for or what he wanted.  He referred to cryptic mailings that I never responded to yet would never say what the mailings were or when he sent them.  

He found the phone numbers of my parents and brother and called them and was rude and threatening to them as well.  He outright lied to them, telling them he was calling since I had them listed as an 'emergency contact' in an urgent matter that he was contacting them about... then when they stated I did not, and had never, lived there, he became very rude and threatening.  

His name is Joe Debold(sp.)  
Finally after no less than 15 messages he said he was from 'CI & associates'.  He implies he is a lawyer but I have the feeling he's a debt collector trying to strong-arm me... but I would like to know for sure.
