This number called my house this afternoon. Asked for someone who does not live at my house and argued with me that he had the right number. He said he was from a collections agency. I kept telling him he had the wrong number. When I asked to speak to his supervisor, he hung up!

Received robo call from (200) 000-0601 - said it was for "free offer" for diabetes patients.

It is a man trying to date me who met me on the internet. Sounds like I should be worried

Thanks for the input everyone. I wish Panasonic would add more call block space on their wireless phones. Anyway, this number is blocked.

Contacted my Google Voice Number and google had no idea who the hell it was or where it orgionated from. First time I had a number come in that had no location.

Same call, no message?

Called, hung up when I answered.

2  calls 12/30/10 at 8.36 and 9.15PM.  did not answer. 5 rings and than stopped.

1 AM and no answer

I did not pick up.  No message left.  Just letting folks know that it's still actively being used.

got a call from this # and the caller said he was from the "narcortics officer section" ???????
Told him I wasn't interested and hung up.

Received March 31, 2011 - 2 pm - Location:  Place of Business....Caller hung-up...  Caller ID:200-000-0601.  How do we block this number?

I answered a call from 876-258-2209 and a man I didn't know said he was Mister something, which turned me off right away.  Told him to go away and hung up, he called again using the 200-000-0601 number and begged me to call him @ the 876 number.  Within in minutes he called back again and started a pitch about buying some kind of card which will make me money.  Again I told him to leave me alone and hung up on him.  I have the recording he made when using the 200 number and I will see if I can understand his babble another time...

recieved call  and picked up and the line went Dead.

Called at 3:09 am on Christmas morning and again at 8:50 Chrismas day no one on the other end.

Just got a missed call from this NY.

I just got a call from that number as well. I didn't answer it as I usually screen most of my calls. Whoever it was didn't leave a message. I'm afraid it may have been a hacker that somehow is able to view and retrieve private information from your phone... kind of like logmein.com. I know this type of software does exist.

Robomarketing call offering carpet and upholstery cleaning.  These calls feel very much like old fashioned telemarketing.  The legislation creating the Do Not Call Lists must have been written like swiss cheese.  Pre-recorded sales calls, cold-call reverse inquiries, survey phishing, bullying "non-profits" (of which only $0.01 of their collections need be donated charitably to qualify their tax favored status), etc. all do not pass the sniff test.  Occam's razor, Peeps.  If it looks, smells, feels like a sales call it probably is.  We can use politicians to try to kill these annoying calls but they'll just waste more of our tax dollars on imported cheeses.  I say we make the telecom companies fix this for us.  If they're selling our digits to marketing companies then I want a piece of the action!  In the very least we should force them to disclose all their 3rd party marketing activities transparently, in plain language and with itemized revenues.

I had the same thing happen to me but with a different number out of CA.  Its funny, you can tell its a fraud by the way they speak so non-professional.  Its clear....dont give money, dont answer and if you do i dis-agree.  Get off the phone asap.  Theyre tracking you and any information they can get. Along with these Validation Codes.  I just hope others read this,  this happend not only to me but another friend of mine last year.

I just BLOCKED the # on my home phone... The menu on your phone may include a "Block # " feature... If so BLOCK it Peeps :)

I keep getting a call from this number.....I'm no fool, I'm not answering!  I decided to look it up and see you all talking about scams.  It's too odd of a number to be SO curious as to pick it up and get hacked.  I simply hit the "block caller" button on my cell.  That should take care of THAT number, at least.

At 4:40 am That number called my phone.Offering carpet cleaning service.Stop calling at that time.

There is no message just people hanging up

we also get calls at my work line from this number. it is a real person looking for information about our programs and wants us to mail the information to an odd box #.
seems very strange to me.

I've been getting quite a few calls from these numbers within the last several days.  Most likely, it's a masked number.
