got a call ,,,gave me last 4 digits of card(card canceled after bankruptcy) so i asked WHAT BANK,,, she said ,,couldnt make it out  so i asked WHAT BANK ...call disappeared ...was suspecious when she didnt identify herself as bank my credit card is with

These people keep calling and when I try to call it back, it says their mailbox is full. They never talk to us or even a recorded message

I got calls from this number for the past two weeks. They don't leave any voice massage and when I'm answering nobody's talking. Weird anyway.

This number began calling a month ago or so.
It is a New Jersey area code so I knew it was some kind of BS call.
I know no one from New Jersey.
The thing is that I have a carrier that does not charge for incoming calls but for those that do, this could add up. I just received a call while at work and flipped the phone to answer. I let it run for about a minute picked it up and some women was saying Hello! is anyone there!
I might just let it go for an hour next time!

I have been receiving 5 or 6 calls a day for the past week.  I answered and told them 3 times to stop calling me or I would report them.  They continue to call and when I try to call back it says the mailbox is full.

yea i get that twice a day too we have to stop them. i searched that number and i found that this is a home phone in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ but the werried thing is it doesnt have anyother info besides the add !!!!!

they called i answered there was no one there so i called back and it said the mailbox was full and hung up i think its a scam

Call from 201 257 4420.
Told me that he called fro a Visa company. Offered a 50 $ free gas card.. I said i don't want to.. I am not goin to pay for anything nor will be sharing any information but he had all that already..
He basically kept talking to me trying to convince me. But I could hear certain keypad tones on his phone while he was talking to me.
I dont know whats happening..

never leaves a message. Calls at all numbers and it comes up KBF in caller ID.

Did not take no for answer and hung up the phone.  They say its free, but then they say you'll be charged 19.98 mthly for phone service if not cancelled.

They never leave a message and when I picked up the phone there was a dial tone.

They called saying they are from MasterCard (its a lie, I called Mastercard to confirm), offer you a $50 gas card and then try to get you to confirm a charge to your card, its a scam, don't give them any information.

i was called by this number about a visa account and they gave me the last four numbers to the account funny thing is they had the wrong name. be ware everybody its a scam to get you information!!!

who  or what is calling my cell number did it twice today so far 7/26/08 I have my cell phone on the do not call program.. How can we stop this from happening..

same thing, about the $50 gas card, and that it would cost 2.50 to ship the gas card out.  i told her, "i have to pay 2.50 for you to mail me a CARD??"  she said the same intro script again about rewarding me for being a long time customer for my mastercard. i asked what company she calls from, she said the same intro script again, i interrupted and told her no WHAT company do you WORK for??? and she immediately hung up.  total scam for sure

I received a call from this number today and the lady gave me the last four digits of my card number.  She told me that they wanted to send me a $50 gas card and a discount card to read over but they would charge my card for shipping and handling only.  Her phone kept going in and out like a cell phone and then when I said never mind because I wasn't paying anything the phone mysteriously hung up.  I called my credit card number and they said they didn't know anything about it, but then tried to sell me some fraud protection coverage.

this number has called me twice,, i missed the call.. now that i googled it i think ill run a reverse scam..!!!

They keep calling me daily, sometimes twice a day.  I finally answered then my phone said network error and I was disconnected.  It's annoying.

I keep gettin cals from this number and when i pick it up they hang up. it is so annoying.

I received a call today from a woman saying she was from a Visa Co. and told me my last 4 digits of my visa nu. She was saying since I had a great record they would give me a $50 gas card but would cost $2.50 to ship the gas card out. I hung up and she tried to call two other times tonight.  Her nu. was 201 257 4420.  I dont like this at all. What should I do? How did she get the last 4 digits and my phone?

Sunday at noon I get a call from this NJ phone #, I didn't answer, They didn't leave message, I immediately googled the number and read all these things about fraud & spam.  Why cant someone do something about this?

THE PH. NU. 201 257 4420 keeps calling me and says they are a visa co. and they new my last 4 digits of my debit card, name, and phone nu. and email The woman said she was going to mail me a$50 gas card but just needed for me to pay $2.95 for shipping and needed the rest of my debit nu. of course I didnt give it to her. I went to the bank the next day and cancelled my debit card. Then a letter was sent to me looking just like my bank saying a third party was looking at your acct. and we need you to fill out all your info. on letter that was sent out by email. I went back to the bank and they had to freeze all my accounts with the bank and report this to identify theft. And I have been interviewed twice by the Identify theft people. I know its the woman at that phone nu. that did this. Know, what are you all going to do about this nu. calling and finding out who it was?  It has called again twice in once week and a call that says no number calls all the time. I want to prosecute these people and that's a N J area code.

SOMEONE NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS NU CALLING AND DOING FRAUD SITUATIONS LIKE THE ONE I HAD WE THINK FROM THEM. IT IS BEING INVESTIGATED!!

I received a call from 201-257-4420 today (April 14, 2009) but I did not answer it.

got a call regarding my credit card ending in 2091, i don't have a card ending in that # .They hung up after i told them that they hung up.

I just received a call from this same lady who asked for me and when I replied that it was me on the phone she just hung up. Hoping this lady can't do too much damage to people when calling. Don't give her any info. If she calls again,I will be sure to let her know that her scam won't work with me. Can't someone disconnect that number with all of these complaints??!!

they are offering discount package and have offer affiliated with an account ending in 0581 and I kept asking where they got the number and they kept repeating I opened an account in 2001 ending in 0581 and I said I do not have an account ending in that number she finally hung up on me after I repeated several times I do no have an account ending in that number

I have received this call on my cell .... only business I ever gave my cell too was Hydrozatone.  Now am getting calls for free gas cards to do a survey and in regards to MC number (last 4 digits) I had canceled card 3 weeks ago.  Still get calls.  I have put my cell on the do not call National registry.  Last call I took and let them ramble .... when all was "said" I informed them the card to which they are calling has been canceled, do not call me again, and hung up.

When calling my Credit Card company, they confirm it has NOTHING to do with them!!

It's the same lady asking to leave my name address and phone number to some marketing department and they will call me back.  I think it's a BS call because they NEVER leave a message
