Called the number back and all I hear is a sound like a cartoon drop of water falling on a pan.

I have officially blocked this telephone number through AT&T U-Verse - bye bye bye!

201-345-4659 called today at 2:11PM.  I did not answer. We live in Wisconsin.

I had the same call today.  Caller ID said Louis J Iandoli.  Never left a message, so I called back and he answered "Hello", and proceeded to ramble off a bunch of stuff about veterans.  I thanked him and said no thanks and he apologized and hung up.

They called and would not leave a message. TELEMARKETERS!

YEAH SAME CRAP WITH ME TOO...IF ANY COPS ARE READING THIS WHAT WILL YOU DO ABOUT TELEMARKETERS WHO CONSTANTLY BREAK THE LAW WHEN I AM UNLISTED?

I picked it up and had dead air. The name on my caller ID is:    Iandoli Louis J.

man called, did not speak at 1st, then said he was w/a veterans charity. I advised him that it was dinner time and asked him to take number from his call list. the man continued talking over me so I hung up. I immediately called the number back and a man picked up the phone saying 'hello' w/no regard to a business or charity name. I advised him that he had just called this number and that he needed to take our number out of his call list immediately. He said he would do this.
I am reporting the call and will report him and his number to law enforcement in regard to receiving a scam telephone call.

I also keep getting calls from this jerk saying he "just wants to deliver" some medic alert equipment that we have supposedly already paid for. We're also on the Do Not Call list and my husband doesn't believe if you answer the phone EVEN ONCE from a telemarketer, it's a free-for-all for them to continue to call. Has anyone gotten a company name from these jokers?

I get calls daily from this number.  The man says he wants to deliver a medic alert system to me which is already paid for, but he doesn't respond to my questions.  It seems like a recording, but they won't stop calling. I'm already on the national Do Not Call registry. Quite annoying.

There are a lot of phony charities that claim they are for veterans, because veterans are a generally sympathetic group. They often use names that sound like the names of legitimate charities. Even those that are not outright scams keep most of the money for the telemarketers. Never give to a charity through a telemarketer. You never know who is really calling.

Don't answer the phone for unidentified callers in the first place.

I have people calling me, for a person with the same name, who used to live in my town, now they google the guy's name and my info comes up, and once you square it with one of these scum bags, they sell it to another, and it just goes on and on.  I not only get phone calls for this guy, I also receive his bills in the mail, to include his child support invoices, collection agencies, and even correspondence from the IRS.  However, its the phone calls that bother me the most, they call at all hours of the day and night.

I have found the answer to all these annoying calls, it's called the Call Blocker, and it works great. I was looking for the solution to these phone calls, for years, and this is the best solution I have found yet. I bought mine on ebay, and it works like a champ.

I am sick of all these calls from telemarketers. Even after you put the number on Do Not Call. I do not have a block technical part from my phone company. So I set my ringer to two rings and then the answering machine picks up. That way they either have to leave a message or hang up and they get charged. I check to make sure it is not someone I know.

I got a call as well, I would watch out what you say when you are speaking, its best to hang up ASAP, we got a call a while back that was answered by an employee, they asked her questions and recorded her voice, they asked things like are you authorized to make advertising decisions for your employer. When I found out they had placed a charge on my phone bill I called them. With in 10 seconds they had a recording with my employees voice but it was obviously chopped up, when asked if she was authorized to make advertising decisions the recording said "yes" but it didn't sound like a conversation and the employee would never have said that. So watch out when you say too much it can be chopped and made to sound like someone was excepting the advertising, or whatever they are trying to scam you for.
It originated from Yellow pages, they out source sales so the person will say and do anything to get you to say the right words that they can chop up and collect a free. Then the charge went on my phone bill! I called the Better Business Bureau, and the company responded with a bold faced lie, saying they had made several attempts to contact me...BUNK
Something thing to think about is calling your phone company and put a block on any 3rd party charges for local as well as long distance, that way nobody can put charges on, its very easy to do that, I was informed of this by the Better Business Bureau. Never knew it was so easy for someone to do.

I've had a couple calls from this number.  A nice and professional sounding man does a speil.  I asked "Is this a computer""  And he says "acutally I'm a real person, but I use a computer for quality control."

Yeah, right.  

I don't know what he's selling, but he is a telemarketer for certain.  I never talk to computers for any reason so I do not wait to find out why they are calling.  I just block their number.

Very satisfying.

Although...  If you want to exact a penalty and have enough patience, their calls cost money.  KEEP THEM TALKING.  The longer they talk the more profit you are taking from them, and it costs you nothing!

I received a call yesterday (7/17) around noon, answered and they hung up. I got a call today, at the same time - noon. I answered, and they hung up. Caller ID says New Jersey.

i lift the ph n hanged up. they redialed and i did the same thing. once i dont recog number, i hang up.

from the quality of the call, it had an echo.

I answered and a man identified himself as Joe and said he was calling about Veteran's of America informed me that the call was being recorded.  He asked for a one time, tax free donation for the Vets.  I politely declined and he politely thanked me and hung up.
