Man..the same thing happened to me.Im not paranoid. when someone is out to steal from you and you notify the FTC that they offered me some lame gifts but insisted the S&H be paid by credit card really happened thats not paranoia..its real. These chumps seriously wanted my C.C. number!! Incredibly brazen thieves. Maybe my FTC complaint will help shut them down but they will probably pop back up with something else. In my experience, once a crook always a crook(with some exceptions)

Just got a call like all the others. 2 rings, then hung up. I checked here first, so I didn't call back

It's a computer generated call...to see if its a working number. No actual real person on the line. It's just checking to see if the number has been assigned. And if you notice, no one posting got this call to their home phone or land line, it's only cell phones.

Annoying phone calls. It is generated by computer to ring once or twice, so you will call them back.

Robo auto generated call from 201-366-2206 with a message that say's "Hi, this is Julie with rewards redemption and we have a $100 rewards card for you. WE ALL NEED TO SIMPLY FILE COMPLAINTS WITH THE  FTC AT https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

Rang 2x on my cell & then hung up at 9:09 am Eastern on 6/13/2014. I don't live in NJ anymore but my cell number is a 732 area code...?   I also had received a call on my landline yesterday from 469-513-0589 (Dallas, TX) at 10:09 am, rang twice & they hung up - I called back & got a prerecorded message about having won a $100 Wal-Mart gift card. I hung up right away. Will be blocking both numbers.

Received a call from this number on my personal cell. Did not answer. They hung up after two rings. Left no voicemail. I've blocked the number.

I received a call from 201-366-2206 that came on my phone as a missed call.  I know no one at that area code.

Got a call from this number.  They didn't let it finish ringing.  Checked this forum and then set up to reject calls from this number in the future.

This number called today and was immediately preceded by 254-477-6776. I had one voicemail, but it was just a hang-up. Not sure which number left the voicemail as they were one minute a part.

Rec'd 6/11/2014 on my PERSONAL CELL PHONE..........no message. I agree with one of the posters here, SHUT THIS SCAM DOWN.............EASY, JUST CALL THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE STATE THEY ARE CALLING FROM.......try to get a company name as they might have many trunk lines.........GIVE THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AS MUCH INFO AS POSSIBLE.

Whether it is a collection call (every state as Collection Laws) or Scams.....they take it seriously, and often the FBI or District Attorney gets involved.

I got very annoying calls from one company.....Called the Attorney General of the state the call came from..........BOOM! NO MORE CALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recieved a call that rang twice and I was not able to answer. The area code was from a far-away area where I had travelled to less than 24 hours prior to the call where I was visiting an important relative regarding urgent business. Thinking the call was from that relative having to do with our business, I dialed back and found an ofer for a $100 gift card. Obviously a SCAM of some sort. Perhaps a coincidence as to the originating area code and my recent travel?

Ever hear of throw away phones. They'll just use a different, perhaps stolen, phone.

Called me, I missed call and called back. Said they were closed. I've had the " $100 gift card" offer before. Always hung up.

Rang once on my very, very private cell phone number.  I did not answer, and no message left.  I blocked the number after finding this page, so thanks!

Just got a call from this number, picked up the phone and nobody was there.
