Yep, Got the same call today. Spoke to "Rose Thompson Of Vision Financial" who promptly hung up on me when I demanded her mailing address. The research I've done led me to:

They appear to be a real company with the rudest people on the planet working there. Once they determine they've
reached someone other than the one they are trying to get money from they clam up and won't even tell where their

I have been receiving calls from this number for several months. Sometimes they leave a message asking for me, Sometimes they leave a message asking for my best friend. More often than not, I don't get any messages from them! it is annoying, and frustrating, especially since I work with small children during the day, and volunteer at a place in the evenings where phone interruptions are frowned upon! tried calling the number back, and got an answering service, no actual person.

have had several calls from this number and I let them all go to voicemail. They have never left a voicemail. After reading the above comments, I am going to block this number. It will go directly to voicemail and I will not even be notified that they call.

Yeah I just got a call from this number on my cell and the guy said my maiden name.  I corrected him and told him that is not my name.  Then he asked if 4 numbers were my last digits of my socials#.  I told him no.  Then he said the call is recorded and I just said okay bye.  Anyways..if it was legit, IF he has my social correct then Obviously he would know my married name.  Dumbass!

I keep receiving calls from this number, but now they do not leave a voicemail.  In the past they use to call, an India accent man claiming to be an officer and I owed money etc. just like other people have stated.  As for me, I also do not answer calls that I do not recognize, if it's important the caller will either leave a detailed message or try to call again.  This is very annoying whoever these people/group is that continues calling and their needs to be a stop put to it!!

I just wanted to add 201-374-8619 to the list for these people.

I regularly receive calls from 201-430-2018, which I never answer. They do not leave a message. The caller ID says the call comes from Weehawken, NJ. It shouldn't be a bill collector, since I owe nothing to no one.

This number is from a debt collector 4 old charge card debts vision financial.. their called they call my house and cell from many different area codes say nothing however one caller id themselves looking 4 my husband and an old card debt he'd had lost his job got very snotty with me and wouldn't tell me anything else wanted to talk to him. I am amazed at the posts re: their rude nasty behavior even to folks who don't owe anyone. Their job is to find the debtor with a name your name might b the same but its not u.  Why they don't speak is beyond me?? Just say why ur calling.  Debt collection is a nasty business they'll call swear lie threaten to show up at ur door like repo men they can't do it. Have to go to court and sue u and secure judgment it is up to the original creditor to decide if the debt is collectible. They always look 4 assests.. if u work have, a bank account to garnish watch out social security not attachable. Check ur state statutes for debt collection harassment and report them. Good luck.

It's very simple, folks...If you don't recognize the number OR the name of the caller, DON'T ANSWER YOUR PHONE.  These companies thrive on using your telephone service to scare you, threaten you, and harass you.  They can't accomplish their goal if you never answer their calls,  And, if EVERYONE they called never answered, they'd be out of business.  What a wonderful world that would be with so much less scum on the planet!!!

These people have started calling me too..about once a week on my cell..never leave a message. I never take the call in the first place since I don't have any reason too..but I did call the number back from my work phone a few weeks ago...they gave me no information and I hung up on them. THey have now started calling my cell, hanging up on the voicemail and then about 2 minutes later, call my office..when I answer with my office greeting, there is no one there and after saying my greeting multiple times and getting no response, I hang up.  I hate people like this..I have no issies that I can think of in the first place..and if they think they have some business with me, why don't they make it known instead of the constant fruitless phone calls? idiots.

Same thing as everyone else, nvr lv msg, and no one when you call, I am on the DNC list. Annoying as hell. When does it become harrassment when these people call, and this is not an understatement, at least 10 times a day?!!!!

I got a call from this number and on the Caller ID it showed up as New Jersey.  I've had similar calls from different numbers, all of the same kind.  It's nothing but a scam.

Aggressive, harassing caller. This number is a second number and I'm not sure why they'd be calling it. Calls twice in a row. Very annoying. When is someone going to do something to stop this nonsense. We receive tons of "Unknown" type callers and it seems like the phone company monetizes our information to anyone to make a buck, then you have to pay for extra features to block this. It's a racket.

Didn't answer the call but called the number back.  A female with an unknown dialect answered the phone and asked if I was Jin Woo.  I replied that you called me - why and who were you calling?  They responded that they must have the wrong number but called me back only moments later again.  This time they hung up and didn't get into their speel.  Pehaps, I spooked them?

keeps calling my personal cell and not saying a word.  Then calls my house and still teh same thing.  I dont even know how they would get my cell - only my kids know that number.  Moreover, I dont even know who they are?

They don't have the nerve to say a damn thing! When I call back it says the number is not in service. Whoever it is, is using a spoof account to mask the number.

Called from 201-530-2018, get calls from this number on occasion. Shows unknown on caller ID. No messages left.

Took your advice. called back & a woman answered "Maryanne? Maryanne?" long pause now w/ a more frustrated voice "Maryanne? I know you are there." Then in an even more annoyed voice "Hi Maryanne? I can almost hear you." All the while the phone was laying on top of the desk & I continued typing.

Keep getting calls from this number and no message left. When you call the number 201 430-2018 you get a message that says phone number is no longer in serive. Seems like a scam. Don't answer the calls and block them if you call. They are notorious for using different numbers.

Have fun with it like I did. I waited awhile after their last call and then called the number back. When the girl answered, didn't give business name and only said "This is Katherine, may I help you?", I just sat quietly and didn't say anything as they do and then hung up. Did this several times and each time she got more rattled. Guessing they didn't like meeting themselves. But I enjoyed it!
