I received the smae email today. but I had aloan with Ace cash many years ago and paid if off. Plus th ecompany doesn't do loan in NY anymore.  Does nayone know hte number for Ace Cash Express.. Sick fools tryign to take our money. I know ht eFBI is investigating allof these scammers i twas in ABC news about two months ago..

I received the same email today, I know it is a scam because I used to receive calls from them but I changed my number. They use to harass me at my job. I just started harassing them! One guy actually broke down and told me he knows he is doing wrong but he is trying to save up money to come to the USA and asked me to marry him so he can get a Visa! Do not pay them any money!

Their in Conmecticut as well! I've also contracted the attorney generals office.
This Matt Williams needs to be investigated! This is a scram!!

so i got this email and it went to my spam Your account with ACE Cash has been referred to my office for collection action. You are currently several payments behind on the above referenced account. The total outstanding amount on this account is $629.99.

I have been instructed to bring legal action against you as may be necessary, which may result in Judgment.

The file indicates that you have failed or refused to pay the above claim even though it appears just, owing, and correct.

You are hereby further advised that if payment is not received within 2 business days of the date of this issue, suit in small claims court may be commenced against you forthwith and without further notice for the amount indicated above, together with prejudgment interest. Instead of small claims court, this matter may be referred to our attorney for suit in municipal court.

As I am sure you are aware, if this matter goes to suit, all court costs, process server's fees, sheriff's fees, attorney fees where permitted, and other post judgment costs will be added to the amount that you already owe.

first off all i paid that off months ago and secondly i applied for a new one so i called the number no answer or anything it kept ringing and ringing i never heard of them first emailing that without any paperwork or calling so bs dont fall for it

Just to let everyone who has had a problem with Legal Group USA and Mr. Williams, I downloaded and filled out a complaint from from the Division of Consumer Affairs from the New Jersey Attorney General's Office. I reported Legal Group from Closter, NJ, and told them to please follow up since it appeared to  me that this group was terorizing people across the country, not just me in Massachusetts, where we have enough low lifes of our own. Unfortunately they will pop up again in another disguise. Just download the form, folks, from The NJ Attorney' General; Office, and send it out. Maybe enough complaints will get them to investigate.

I received an email from Mr. Matt Wiliams today stating I also owed Ace Cash $600.00 and to respond in 2 days or he would turn this matter over to a sherrif. I contacted my son in Miami, an attorney, for what to do with these people. So after a few minutes,, I called Mr. Williams, who has a marked Indian accent, and told him I do not accept this claim, I do not acept that I have any current or past obligation to Ace, and that when I went to the Ace web site and try to log in, they did not recognize me. I was about to add, that further more I want to be contacted by mail not email, well folks, Mr. Wiliams went and hung up on me. It's just another scam, carried a bit further  than some, but still a scam. Don't be bullied by this group of morons. if you confront them, they wil cave in. I do think the State Attorney General of New Jersey should be made aware of this!

I received an email and I called back asking for the business license number and length of time in business, as I will be doing a background search on them as a company.. as well as they would not provide me with paper documentation to confirm the actual validity of the account... lame..

They called me a few weeks back YELLING at me saying I better be home because they are coming to arrest me and take all of my possessions because of a "loan i have". I thought it was hilarious because the call center or office they are calling from isn't even in the US. It's somewhere in India. I also recieved the same email that you guys did and decided to call back "Matt Williams" and after telling them that I've done research and "ACE cash loans" does not exist they disconnected the call. Big scam!

I received same email. They state that I owed $582.00 and that I am several payments behind.  They can not decide whether they are going to take me to small claims or municipal court.  I will not be responding to this email. And I will not be calling 1-301-588-3006 to speak with Matt Williams, Collection Manager of Legal Group USA.  It is a scam!!

Got an email stating a took out a payday loan with Advance Cash Expert & that I'm SEVERAL payments behind... they are demanding full payment of $582 or they are gonna take me to small claims!! NEVER borrowed!!!  It's a scam!!
