I called # back. It's a scam trying to collect money for NJ police. A guy answers and as soon as I asked who it was, he hit the play button on the recording asking for money.

Got call from 201-654-7021. No message. Caller is lists number and above that v30114231000293. My rule: no name, no answer. Don't recognize number, no answer, no call back. No name, don't recognize number, no message, no chance at any interaction.

hung in there until someone picked up - said he was from some law enforcement charity and began to put on a hard sell...I told him the caller ID said nothing about a charity and he hung up.

I had some guy on my Verizon FIOS Home Voice mail shouting into the phone "Hello, Hello". Not sure what his gig is.
