He just called us and tried to pull a scam.

Somebody with an Indian accent and a lot of noise in the background called me about an IRS fraud and threatened me with jail and penalties over 50K. My option was to get a prepaid card of $2,713 from 711 or Ride Aid and meet them to my house where IRS would bring me information about my case. He mentioned to stay on the phone while I buy the card and travel to my home. This is crazy!!! Somebody should stop these sick people!

Very heavy accent, lot of static on the line. Recommend himself  as FBI agent and threatened with an arrest warrant for some IRS fraud. Obviously a scam. Does anybody know about an official organization where can report this?

Big time scammers! Sorry to hear this happened to you also, Rosalinda. They almost gave my mom a heart attack when they called her.  They said their was a warrant out for her arrest and that they were going to detain her if she didn't pay $2,900+.  Unreal. People are disgusting

I received a message from 202-241-1386 from a guy with an accent, saying that I am under criminal investigation and that I should call back. I could not hear his first name; the last name is Mason. He knows my name, which concerns me.

I just received a message from 202-241-1386 regarding a criminal charge. I called the number back and when I insisted for more details I was not able to get them and I told the person to send the police to my door. This is definitely a scam.

This number left a voicemail on 05/12/14. There was not missed call.

How do you know? He called me Friday 9 and Saturday 10. Hopefully they get them because they don't know how the health conditions is in the other side of the line.

This number will not be scamming anyone any more.

Got call on answering machine today.  Heavy, Indian-sounding accent, claiming to be officer "Max Morgan" of criminal investigation division who said there was a warrant issued for me and family member and this must be rectified immediately.  Didn't call back... and will not.

Same call/message today, from heavy indian/pakistani/punjabi accent scammer, pretending to be Louis Smith (ha,ha), special agent from Crime Investigation Division, gives his Federal badge ID 1593, asking/demanding me to call same number , because he has an arrest warrant. Similar scenario I found on line , happened last year to someone, and the scammer knew also the persons SS number. So it may more serious if they stole all data (identity theft?). I will complain to FBI like that person did.

Same kind of message on my phone today, "your address is under federal investigation, call back ASAP..." Sounds like scam.

Some guy with a strong foreign accent (Indian?) called me twice this morning to tell me that there is a warrant for my arrest and they want to give me details about "the cause". I hardly could understand what he was talking about so I asked for someone who speak better English. It was almost the same...So, I hung up. Few minutes later they called me again (UNKNOWN CALLER) again but this time they left a message because I did not answer They left this phone # for me to call back for details.

If you get a call like this you should know already they are scammers hunting for seniors (and not only).
