I just got a call about ten minutes ago. I live in La. The guy said there was grant money available to everyone. $2500.00 to first come first serve.

How can we tell if this is for real or a scam?

The axe finally feii---I got a $39.95 charge on my credit card  The bank told me it was for an agreement,but they didn't have any more info.I have challenged the charge

i just got a phone call from the 2022802393 phone # and it also said to go to mygrantfunds.com to get money the gov was giving away. It was on a first come first basis. I don't know how they got my cellphone #. He said 2million dollars will be given out this month in my area.So if you need money for credit cards,mortgage payments,etc. to please go to mygrantfunds.com and this will be the only phone call due to the nature of it is first come first serve

Received call 6/23/09 approx 2:30 pm on my cell phone stating his name was Adam Kline 202-280-2393 stating a government agency in CA was giving away up to $2500.00 on a first come basis no repay

I also received a message on my landline informing me that Federal Money was being offered in my area. I must act now to get the money because this is a first come first serve basis. To be eligible for the money I must go to mygrantfunds.com. I checked out the site and it does have any information to confirm its authenticity. It makes you believe it's real by having major television networks logos appear on the site (CNN,NBC, and ABC).

I am from Arizona and got a call at 11 am 6-13-09. Was a recording. Caller said his name is Alan Freeman from the local Federal Funds Administration and is giving out to our local district 2 million dollars in federal funding from the second stimulus package incentive and anybody who needs money is required to go to www.mygrantfunds.com and they will receive $2500 in cash. The is a one time opportunity, so call immediately as you will not receive a second call.

got the same call said the resident of alabama was to get 2500.00 but it was first come first serve and the offer would not be repeated

"On July 9, 2007, Alan Freidman was charged by federal criminal information with 1 count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud. The charges alleged that Alan Freidman participated in business opportunity fraud through telemarketing".  Don't know if it's the same guy, but it smells a little.

Received a telephone call on my landline. Stating the same as list prior. Eligible for a share of grant money, receive, up to 2500$. All I needed to do was go to mygrantfunds.com. So I went searching the phone number, and it is a cell phone. Listed below is what I found out about the number.

Also, the website, which only has one page and you must & fill out click, to get more (I DID NOT ). The contact information is email. Listed as an organization. It?s sales pitch is; they are the go between, between Federal government & you. For Grant money. Please do not waste you time and give away your money.
If you looks like a scam, walks like a scam, sounds like a scam, it probably is a scam!

THE MESSAGE I GOT WAS EXACTLY THE SAME AS YOU HAD RECIEVED AND THEY CALLED ME 4 TIMES IN A ROW ON THE SAME DAY A FEW MINUTES OR SO BETWEEN EACH CALL.WHAT IS UP WITH THAT?

My mom received a call from this phone number. The recording said that it was a State Representative from Illinois(where she lives). The "Representative" said she could receive $2500.00 from a second stimulus package for her district. She asked me to get online and this was the only hit for the web address given. What's up?

Received a call from the same number.  Anything that is free does not require a credit card number.  Do not do it.  It's a scam and they will bleed your account dry.  If anyone knows how to stop them. please let me know.  They called my home at 10:35 a.m. and I live in Rosamond, Calif.

I just received 2 calls from (202)-280-2426 from Washington, D.C. on June 12,1009 @ 2:01pm & 2:12pm. Saying how money was available on a first come basis.  It has to be organized for so many states to be targeted @ the same time.  What do they hope to benefit, if the website  leads a person here?

I just got the same message on my answering machine. I didn't pick up cause I didn't know the number.It said to go to mygrantfunds.com on a first come first serve basis. I work for a large bank corporation and yes this is a scam sorry to say.The number came up on my caller id as washington dc.
