"On July 9, 2007, Alan Freidman was charged by federal criminal information with 1 count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud. The charges alleged that Alan Freidman participated in business opportunity fraud through telemarketing". Don't know if it's the same guy, but it smells a little.
He apparently registered the web site on June 1 2009, 13 days ago.

Received a telephone call on my landline. Stating the same as list prior. Eligible for a share of grant money, receive, up to 2500$. All I needed to do was go to mygrantfunds.com. So I went searching the phone number, and it is a cell phone. Listed below is what I found out about the number.

They are using the words "Stimulus program" as the hook - they charge you for information that is already free!
THIS IS THE ONLY LEGITIMATE WEBSITE FOR GOV GRANTS AND INFORMATION www.grants.gov.

Look-alikes aren?t the real thing. Just because the caller says he?s from the ?Federal Grants Administration? doesn?t mean that he is. There is no such government agency. Take a moment to check the blue pages in your telephone directory to bear out your hunch ? or not.
