I don't understand the "up to a month" delay for removal..... What? Are their electrons that slow? Are they not using computer-input? As a former information- and procedures analyst: ten years ago, we could have captured the 10-digit number as you (the harassed recipient) keyed it, and had the number tagged for removal within a few seconds.... perhaps actually removed from the call-list. No, I did not work for ANY telemarketers, but the systems/technology/capability was available...I'm sure it still is. . . . So, in my mind: this is continued harassment on their part, since I see no acceptable reason to use supposedly up-to-date technology to place these robocalls, but not use up-to-date technology to remove a number.

Got another call at 5PM from this number. "Unknown Name" displayed. Caller left no message.

I called back and it was the Christian Coalition of America. The automated answering machine indicated I could press "1" to be added to the "Do Not Call List" and I did so and was informed it could take up to 30 days to process the request -- we'll see!

Got a call yesterday at 6PM from this number. Caller-ID said "Unknown Name". Website www.whitepages.com says this is a Landline and yet further down the web page it declares it as a "Mobile". www.whitepages.com used to give the owner of a phone number but now wants $1.99 to give it to you! Therefore, I guess I'm going to stay in the dark about who owns it.

I also often receive calls from this number, which is in Washington D.C. I have never returned them. I don't know anyone in Washington and this isn't the number for my congressional representative.

I have received calls from this number at least two times in the last three days. (8:12 AM MST on 8/10/12 and 12:48 PM MST on 8/8/12). I answer, there is no one on the line and then it hangs up. Very annoying. I know no one in this area code. I am getting numerous calls from the 202 area code, at least one a day with similar results. I wish they would stop.
