What a crock...You immediately call the # on the caller ID back to try to get calls to stop...Says # no longer in service...

The guy calls from the National Republican Committee, asks for "______" then proceeds to inform me the call is recorded and asked for the same $400 or would $300 dollar contribution be better, to keep the democrats from taking over Congress. "The funds that you contribute will be matched by Senator Boehner!!!"

Well there you go, that would be a double contribution IF i lost my mind long enough to make a contribution to some jay-goon on the phone that has an unavailable name on the caller ID. Seriously, this is obviously a SCAM!!!!!

Likely a scam ... and you should be suspicious ... lol the folks who blame political parties.  Shows up on my caller id as "NOT IN USE" .. very revealing.

Don't bother.  I'm a registered democrat and I still get the phone calls.  I think they are robo calls, that's why there is no one answering when you pick up.  I just don't answer.

This same number calls everyday, and I'm not exaggerating .... today I called the number and got the message, "this number has been disconnected or is no longer in service".  OK, so if the number is no longer in service then why does my phone ring daily showing this same number?  Who are these idiots?  Don't think their political calls because you actually get their recordings, which are also annoying .... Democrat, Republican, and local!!!

We are continuously receiving calls from this number and they do not leave messages and when we pick up, they hang up.

they call constantly and then hang up once you answer. i did hear a voice today, 7/18/12.  when I have called the number back it says the number is disconnected. very freaky.

Pretty much the same that everyone else wrote; today's call got me kinda mad......he asked me for a cc# that is valid because the first one I gave them (which never has happened and never will) wasn't valid, so I dug into my junk drawer and grabbed 3 cards which are no good, a Burger King Gift Card, a Hardee's Gift Card, and a ASUS Gift Card! I believe the ASUS card still has about 5 dollars remaining. I really do hope these people can sleep at nite.

THEY CALL ME DAY AND NIGHT AT LEAST TWICE A DAY. I AM REALLY ANNOYED. THEY SHOULD BE PERSECUTED FOR DISTURBING PRIVATE CITIZENS.

We receive calls from  this number several times a day. Usually no one there, we now do not answer this #

These calls are persistent and intrusive.  Why they cant be stopped.

this is an old cc scam...they usually say your 1st card didn't go through, when it really did...they then ask for other cards, untill one is accepted, after they said you read the cc numbers wrong, the 1st time.

They called today and said the credit card that I used for my donation did not go through. They said the problem was on their end. They wanted my credit card number again. I told them I had not made a donation and hung up. I called the number tonight and a recorded message from a foreign sounding woman said I had reached NRCC and the info to look them up on line.

I just answered a call  from this number. I'm not sure how this happened, but I was somehow conferenced into a call in progress and heard a 4 or 5 second  snippet of that call.  What I heard was really pretty disgusting.  The conversation sounded like it was between a telemarketer and an elderly man.  The telemarketer said " OK then, how about if I put you down for a $20.00 donation?" The elderly man said  "I don't think you understood me.  I don't want to make any donation."  The telemarketer started to say something else, but must have realized that there was another call on this line because at that point I was disconnected. It sounded to me like the older man was being harassed into making a donation that he didn't want to make.  Really disgusting, if you ask me!

I'm not even Republican!!  They just called, asked for me and I told them they had the wrong number!!!  LOL!!  I hope that means they will take my number off the list.

I called back and got a message.  You can have your number removed, so I called and had them remove me.  It's a recorded message!!!

It is the National Republican Congressional Committee---you may see NRCC on your Caller ID, either way, they want your donations!
