some  are landlines...many  are  cell phones...some  are  spoofed  and  linked  to  offshore foreign call centers  /  countries !!!!
we've  traced  back  most  of  these  numbers  to  offshore  foreign    call centers  in  INDIA /  THAILAND / AFRICA  /  JAMAICA  ETC....

here's a  few  other  numbers  posted  from  the   same  area  code  offering a  wide  variety  of  scams  /  fake  emails and  scams  after  posting  something  on   craigslist   (  old  scam  )  ...... collecting  for  non  existant  "  payday  loans "....free  money / scam  giveaways /  calling  on  behalf  of  a  humane  society..... $1,000's  in  free  gov't  money.........  etc  etc.....stories  change  out  all the  time......and  the  usual  nonsense!!!

**   mysteriously  call to  claim  they  have  several  thousand  of  dollars  to  send  you....just  provide  your  bank  account and  credit  card   right  away   etc etc.........scam scam

several  of  these are  the  usual   long  ongoing  scams   such  as  :  you  have  won a  free  walmart /  bestbuy  gift  card....or  you  have  won a  free  ipad  etc......all  long  ongoing  scams

Caller was mad I would not take a survey. Called my business cell phone. Demanded to rape my wife if I did not do the survey. FTC and FTT need to shutdown these dumb telemarketers. They need to die in a slow painful death. We can not even run a business anymore with 5-10 of these calls from all different numbers of the day.

Okay, so I missed their call and they left no message. I called back and there was no response. I have found that this is a cell phone. I did a survey a while ago -of course, who can pass up on a iPad2? lol- and i put my number in like a moron. well idk if everyone has put their numbers in surveys but I think thats how they got me. Otherwise idk and i'm scared. lol

I got the call on my cell, late in the evening, and no message...???

Just got a call at about 8:30PM. Answered and no one talked. Just silence. Tried to call back because I have some friends from the area and it stayed busy.

Just got a call from this number, nine at night. Not answering that bull. I wonder how they even got our numbers, anyone download any apps recently or have some vindictive friends giving out there number? lol.

I got a phone call too! Google says 202 408 is distric of columbia. but it also says that 202 is washington dc. wtf?

They had me take a survey and said I won bahama cruise tickets...

lol That's what I was thinking, Ways! I got a call from this number about an hour ago and have been trying to call since then. Half the time, it's busy; and the other half, it says "the customer you are trying to reach in unavailable." I googled the 202 area code, and it says it's Washington DC.
