Get a call a least once a week. I never answer since I don't know the number. How do I get it to stop calling me?

Call center but doesn't leave a message

Curious---how many of you called/e-mailed the Federal Trade Commission to complain.  Maybe if enough complaints are filed, perhaps FTC might investigate,but don't hold your breath because FTC is toothless !

if you have a fax at you phone  plug it in and the calls will stop  if i dont know the number i let my computer answer the call  the other person thinks is a fax line and they will stop or remove your number from there list  trust me it works i do it every day if you call and i dont know the number you will have a nice convo with my computer

I didn't pick up the phone.  Answering machime message was  a "business opportunity offer for the right person."  I suspect they are behind other calls where they don't leave any message or if you pick up the phone, there is no answer.  The US do not call registry is a joke; nothing is done about it.

Just got it also, on my mobile. I was thinking it might because I put my cell number Ina few sites when doing business online.  Thought maybe my number was sold....?

This is an automated call trying to sell work-at-home business.

got the same call around 530 today call by the tim e i answered there was a dial tone.  no message left.  tryed back and it said all circuits are busy please try your call again later.  its the establishment and big brother looking after you

I got one today and I do not wanting it to call my cell phone. I have my phones all registered with the DO NOT CALL LIST but still getting this call.

Received a several calls from this number.  They don't leave a message and when you call back no one answers the phone.

This number called me couple times. I never pick up..

This is a tele-marketing crap message saying that they can send you information to work at home.  It's bull=crap.

They left a message. Something about "Push one to repeat message, push two to hear more or push 7 to be taken off the call list." I called back and "number can't be completed as dialed."

got a call form this number and no one said any thing.. called it back not a working number?

I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST can I report this #202 411 5515?

Got the call at 7:10 p.m.  Said District of Columbia on the I.D.  I didn't answer it, and they didn't leave a message.  Typed it in here and see the comments.

My husband is deployed and every once in a while when he calls me it comes up as this number. I wouldn't freak out about it too much.

I looked this up and found that the code is used by Government to transfer secure data on an open line for the DOT. It seems that some hacker has found a way in to the Federal Cell Phone database and is using it to send out calls to see which numbers are still good.

You would notice that the calls only ring a few times, a message is never left and there is nothing on the other end of that number.

It's a worm of sorts that uses the last free set of numbers to make the next set of calls and keeps going until it hits a road block.

Expect a mass of junk messages on your phone soon.

I just got a call from this same number says:  n11 code dc

It came in after 5:00 p.m. (almost 5:30 p.m.) so I'm guessing it's not a  business.  Makes one thinks it's official, but no message for me either.

Who is calling me from phone number 202-411-5515 ? The caller ID says N11 Code DC. They will not leave a message, and when I return the call, the phone number does not work

I didn't answer this call at 6 pm PST as I was watching the World Series.  

No message left by caller.  

If it's important they'll send me a letter.

I just got a call from them, and it was a work-at-home scam.  I wonder if I should just answer and walk away, letting the caller tie up its line until it automatically drops the call.

Or should I try to get a hold of a real person, act interested, and get them to give me a mailing address.  Then send them an envelope filled with talc powder...no, just kidding!  Really, I'm just kidding!

Called at 8:46am  on 10/27/09.  No message left on my answering machine.  Caller ID showed" Wash DC Call."

202-411-5515 just called me.  It's a work from home scam.  I just filed a complaint at the National Do Not Call REgistry.  Hope they shut them down.

Caller from this number left message on my answering machine; just caught
part of the message saying press "9" to place on Do Not Call List.  Called
back and it sounded like a fax machine.

Got this call 3 times, picked up once and never heard from them again, but now I'm getting this "Unknown Caller" every morning at 7:30 AKDT since the 11th of October... Silence from the other end. Driving me INSANE!
