I receive several calls from a number similar to this 202 455 something....sorry! I don't usually answer  so I didn't write it down. I get quite a few telemarketing calls a day so what I usually do is answer and then put the phone up to theTV (usually watching sports or MSNBC). I got sick of it so this morning and finally pciked it up and talked. I got a woman who was from KD Solutions or something like that and she needed to do a....get this....."skim" on my computer because it was getting ready to blow up because of a virus!!!! OMG! I suppose they had a good laugh over THAT one and thought they had a real sucker. I let her go through this big speel of gobbldegook and then said I could stand it anymore and said what a POS she was scamming people this way. And of course she yelled at me and said that it was legit. Too funny. But I'm sure they scam some people and it really gets me! This is a woman with an Indian accent I believe.  Good Luck.

This man is a scam artist trying to extort money from people. He always states he is from some law inforcement agency.  He is not and has been checked out. Do not give him any information, or talk to him. I was adviced by the law inforcement agencies.  He has nothing to do with any law agency and does not work for the Washington field office.  He spoof's numbers. even 9911 Emergency numbers.
Law inforcement does not get involed in debts or law suits. This man is nuts!

He has call me several times to and said he needs to speak to my employer so he can have me fired.  He is very persistant.  He will call and if i do not answer he keeps calling.  He has left messages saying that I will be sued. He also states it will put a red mark on my name and social security#.  When I told him he was harrassing me and that he was a fraud he went kind of crazy.  He keeps leaving messages now.

Our office has been plagued with calls from this number. I called them back. Everyone had a thick Indian accent (part of my family was from India so I recognize the accent easily). The man who answered said, "Washington Field Office". I asked what organization; he said, "This is the U.S. government". I asked which branch; he said, "The Department of Justice". He asked who I was trying to reach - our phone service had recorded the name Mark Williams (although my staff said they have used multiple names including 'Charlie Brown'). The fellow came back saying, "Officer Williams was trying to verify that [name withheld] works there." I certified that this person was not employed there and he dropped the conversation and hung up.

I reported this to the FBI and they responded within 10 minutes with the following:  After careful evaluation of your information, it is our determination that your tip regarding phone scams/telemarketing fraud should be reported to the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) at 1-888-CALL-FCC (1-888-225-5322) voice or 1-888-TELL- FCC (1-888-835-5322). You may access the FCC web-site at www.fcc.gov and file a complaint using the FCC online form: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

I got the same call today.  Washington Field Office...telling me they have law suit and charges on me for a payday loan...when I told them they were out of their mind as I have NEVER taken a payday loan they said I would be arrested tomorrow at my home if I did not take care of this now.  I told them I would see them when I was arrested then.

I called my local law enforcement and I reported them to the www.IC3.gov.

Also I would recommend putting an alert on your credit and notifying your bank or watching you bank very closely.  If they can get your name and phone who knows what else they have.

I have gotten multiple phone calls from the same voice and same spiel. Always states some that he is a law officer of some law inforcement agency. Calls from different number, and different states. I have gotten calls from the same person since May 2010.  The same format of his spiel. States he has an attorney on the line and don't iterrupt. The coversation consist of stating multiple federal crimes have been charged against me and that some money lender is suing me and wants the problem can be solved by depositing some amount of money to resolve any where from $5,000.00 to $1,500.00.  The states too bad for you if you can't.  He gets the information off the internet and contacts family members with the same spiel. I have called FBI, U.S. Marshall and have been told it is a scam ignor it and report it to www.IC3.gov.

I got a call from this number on my cell phone. The person left a message and said he was looking for [my first name]. He said he was Daniel Jones and he was calling from the Washington Field Office and that there was a lawsuit being filed against me and my social security number. I called the number [with my caller ID blocked], and he answered "This is Daniel Jones, how may I help you...." then hung up. I called back the same way, and he said the same thing, but this time when I didn't answer, he kept saying "hello, hello, etc" then I hung up.
