Survey
Do NOT call them back...there's liability on your part if you initiate the call.  DO answer the phone when they call...STOP THEM MID-SENTENCE BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY (yell, scream, fart, burp...whatever) and then say in a FIRM tone, "Do NOT call this number again.  Place this number on your Do Not Call List - DO YOU UNDERSTAND?"  If they respond with ANYTHING other than "Yes Sir/Maam" and give you a recourse phone # if additional calls are made - stop answering the phone and let it track the # of times they call.  Then sue them in small claims court, even if the company is not based in the same jurisdiction you live in.  Under the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act, you can sue telemarketers for your actual monetary loss or up to $500?whichever is greater?FOR EACH CALL RECEIVED after you requested to be put on their Do Not Call List. At the court's discretion, if the judge rules that the company knowingly broke the law (you'll need a recording usually to ABSOLUTELY PROVE they called after you asked them to stop - otherwise it can be considered a miscommunication or some other BS lie), the maximum penalty triples to $1,500 PER CALL.  WOO!

I thought I'd get rich that way due to the ruthlessness of today's telemarketers, but apparently the new law is killing them.  Every single telemarketer I've had that conversation with politely responded Yes and NEVER called again.  So DO IT!  Take action and stop these monsters.  And for heaven's sake...if you're not on the National Do Not Call list already...DO THAT TOO!

Yeah, yeah, I got the call too. Unfortunately, ITC IS a SCAM! I never placed my number online. The caller that harassed me for two hours did a reverse lookup on my name via my email addy. These people are stalkers. I answered the phone, and was dragged through their whole uninformative presentation (typical hype and nonsense about the travel industry being the key to enormous wealth- puleeze... does 9/11, increased security checks, SARS not ring a bell???) Not to mention the fact that all the so-called "legitimate" information they have to show about their company comes from spoof websites appearing to be from the BBB, etc. These folks apparently are either paid for dialing or are monitored on how many leads they can harvest. Anyone who gets a call from these jerks should stay away (ie- look how RUDE the employee's post is- totally UNPROFESSIONAL!). If you're truly interested in making money from home, yes, don't fill out online surveys, but also, don't harvest emails and stalk people just to meet your quota!

I work for this company, it is the International Travel Connection. We get your information by you going online and doing a survey requesting information on a home business. Yes there are times when we call for someone that is probably not of age but that just means that you parents need to monitor your child's computer use. You think it is annoying to get our calls, it is annoying to us to get ahold of you people and to have to be extreamly rude or just hang up. We can not take you off of our list until you answer the phone and tell us personally that you are not interested. It takes 24 hours for your name to be taken off the list after that. We are just trying to do our job, there are people out there that really want to be a part of our company. Now I hope there is no more question about this number. The company is based out of New York, it is a call center on the internet so our calls get routed through Washington DC. If you don't want to be called then DONT do surveys

This number called my house phone at least 5 times a day.  I didn't pick up.  I didn't know the number.  Then the number started calling my cell phone.  I called the number back.  I got a message that said the service you are trying to access is restricted.  It finally stopped.

As I told you guys before. It's from people posting their number on stuff on the internet. I answered the phone for the last time. A woman picked up and wanted to offer me something. I told her I've been getting calls from this non stop and every time I picked up it'd ring or someone would hang up. She told me she was sorry. I said "I would like to be taken off your contact list" She said something about "So you're not interested in making like 10,000 dollars a month?" I said "Nope" And she hung up and apologized and I haven't had a call from them in over a week. So the next time you get a call from them just do as I just did/said. And you'll be fine. If they hang up then keep answering until someone starts talking.

I too have received several phone call's from this number. They call anywhere from 3-5 times a day.  They started calling about a week or so ago.  I have never answered one of their calls.  I finally googled the number and got this website.  I hope these calls stop soon!

I've had 3 phone calls within 4 hours from this 202-555-0000 number. I have relatives in the Balto/Wash area, so at first I thought maybe they were calling me. Nothing appears on the voice mail. Wierd--anyone know how to stop this idiot?

They have been calling all week, 3-5 times a day.  My wife just had an extended conversation and reports: that the caller refused to identify himself, his company is called "International Travel" and his company is using an auto-dialer that connects to his location which is NOT Washington, DC.  I Googled the phone number while she was on the phone and found this site.

Now I know I am on the "Do Not Call List", I see that Google also found a  DOJ.gov site, after I check that out next stop...is the FCC/FTC Do Not Call Website.

My bad I worded that wrong, It's probably someone who spoofed the number or got into their records. I'm sure everyone here has posted their number needlessly while signing up for SOMETHING. In which case would probably be the problem. Ignore it or put a block on the number with your cellphone carier. I don't know if they can block it since it's not recognized as a real number. And since spoofing always gets around things like that. For example someone can call you with their own number if they have the skill and know what they are doing with computers. Also could call you with 000-000-0000 I've had it happen from people thinking they are "eliteo hackers"
