Man said his name is Ted Ross with FTC and Publisher's Clearing House and Lifetime Sweepstakes. Why isn't the FTC going after these cancers?

I just received this prank phone call also. They claimed that were with Dept of Justice, and that wer trying to get in touch with me to give me $875,000.00.

fraud  scammers  from the  202  area  code:

some  are landlines...many  are  cell phones...some  are  spoofed  and  linked  to  offshore foreign countries !!!!
we've  traced  back  most  of  these  numbers  to  offshore  foreign    call centers  in  INDIA /  THAILAND  ETC....

here's a  few  other  numbers  posted  from  the   same  area  code  offering a  wide  variety  of  scams  /  free  money / scam  giveaways / humane  society  etc  etc.....stories  change  out  all the  time......and  the  usual  nonsense!!!

I just received a called from a Frank Gomez at the DOJ saying, that I have a check for $875,000 waiting at US Customs and to call a William Johnson at 718-690-9758 to claim it.  I am so glad I checked here first.

They are calling my mother, and promising her 250k in government treasury money after she wires $800 to San Jose, Costa Rica.
