This number has been calling me every other day!!! I'm tired of getting them!!

I think it was from Romney's campaign which is great, as it shows that they're dialed in and working hard.  Although it may have been Obama's folks, maybe wanting to discuss the Newsweek story this week on the cover, "Hit the Road, Barack".  Outstanding, what?  Soon we'll all be rid of this lying scum usurper in the White House, and can begin to piece our lives and our country back together again.

calls constantly but no message

Call is from DC. Possibly a scam from supporters of the "competition" to the Romney/Ryan campaign to irritate us and take money from Romney supporters to fund their own campaign or just outright steal. All I can say (like others here) is don't ever give your financial info to phone solicitors. I've been called from prisons for donations to "sheriff" organizations.

Just don't answer if you don't know the number.

The best thing to do is lay down the phone and walk away.  They have a quota of calls/hour they must meet.  If you waste their time, they will stop calling.  If you really want to have some fun, talk to them and ask (seriously) the stupidest questions you can think of.  That will REALLY get you off their list.

This call undoubtedly comes from the Obama team pretending to be Romney. They failed to answer key questions from me, information they would have had if they were legit. More Chicago politics. We really have to get this idiot out of office. They even hired a guy to make these calls who sounds like an idiot to give the Romney team a bad rep. Good grief, how low can they stoop? What is next? Nothing will surprise me.

I received a call from 202-599-9723 & didn't not answer it today. However, I got a call from this number yesterday : 202-599-9723 & answered the call. At this time it was a Spanish robo call. Since I live in Tucson,  AZ it made sense that the robo call would be in Spanish ; because of my location & the amount of people in this geographic area that speak Spanish. Finally, if it's a robo from the Romney /Ryan campaign I would think they would contribute to the campaign. So,they could help bring about the hope & change of of Obama. Hope that America gets to change the president. From this American"s point if view if America doesn't Change president's, we as Americans will loose all Hope.

I am getting called from this number every other day with no one on the line.

The calls are coming from a predictive dialer that only allows outbound calls not inbound. People are being hounded on a daily bases due to this being an election year. If you want to contribute to a political party do it on a local level there for no criminals get your personal information.

This number comes up on my home phone as Washington DC it's usually some W***e of a Politician asking me to give them money so they can get into office and steal it without having to ask me any more...

 I call these numbers back after they call me and this number says it is "No longer in service" ???  How did that happen in the 5 minutes it took to call them back ??

Oh yea~ You can really trust someone calling from a number with that feature...

I am 74 years old & have several health concerns- I am twice widowed, have 6 children grown & gone...two of my sons are connected to homeland security; so, you better stop waking me early in the morning- stop the repeated calls during the day- stop the calls at my dinner time!

I don't care which party or president you want to contribute too. People need to be aware of telemarketing scams becuase this year there is a huge spike. If you work hard for yor money you deserve to keep it, not have it deceivingly stole from you. Especially in this economy. It's a sad world we live in.

If you want to contribute to any candidate, I Guarantee you that you can give your money ONLINE (hello folks) or to a local/state known and respected organization.

Be smart folks. Save your money. NEVER EVER give out personal nor financial information over the phone. ESPECIALLY to random callers.

Scammers prey on peoples emotions and gullibility. It's good for the scammers becuase it keeps the operation going. A caller MUST identify themselves. Period, regardless of DNC list.

The first thing the called state is that this organization ISN'T ENDORSED BY ANY CANDIDATE!!

That should be your first sign that it is scammers.

Even political calls MUST state the organization. If you call the number back I guarantee it is disconnected! What a shocker! The caller ID is spoofed/faked. All they are doing is deceiving you to steal your credit card information. DONT BE STUPID PEOPLE!
