they called me to with a bogus ss# and said i owe for a loan that was deposited in an account in a bamk that i have never heard of so i asked for the account number and they couldn't tell me then i ask for the bank address and they couldn't tell me i call the bank and they said that they don't have any one call you for a loan that you owe them and they also said that they have been gettin alot of calls about that they told me to call my attorney general or the police the next time they call

I've received this call from this particular attorney threatening me with an Indian accent to call this number immediately. THIS NUMBER IS DEFINITELY A SCAM!

Same here I called those scammers personnally...I wish we could get them for fraud....

I received a very threatening and nasty phone call from someone who held himself out to be an attorney and that I was to be arrested tomorrow morning. He would not identify the law firm, nor would he provide any proof. He only said that they would be dragging me off the jail tomorrow morning. They also called my place of business and told them that I was to be arrested tomorrow morning.

How can I report these people for violating the my privacy, the Fair Debt Collection Act and harassment?

Got a call from this number today, and they stated I was going to go to jail at 11:00 tomorrow morning. They had my name and SS number. I decided to play with them instead of getting mad, and got them to admit that what they are doing is illegal. The call came from the District of Columbia, but he said he was in Washington, then in Colorado, and then Los Angeles. He stated his name was Ron Adams, then Timmy Reed, and then asked me if I wanted to talk to a famous person, Don Johnson. It is a big scam. I have checked into it, and was told that this is a new thing going on, and they will even attack your bank account. I closed my account and went to a different bank. I have flagged my credit reports as well. Be carefull, they have all your information

I RECEIVE THE SAME CALL...THESE R PEOPLE THAT TELL U THAT THEY HAVE SUMMONS FOR U, AND THREATEN U THAT U R FGOING TO JAIL IF U DONT PAY THEM....PLEASE DON'T GIVE THEM ANY KIND OF ADDITIONAL INFORMATION OTHER THAN WHAT THEY HAVE...THEY WILL USE THE INFORMATION AND KEEP THREATENING U...SO DON'T EVEN BOTHER IN ANSWERING THE CALLS....I HAD TO CALL MY LOAN COMPANIES TO ASK IF THEY WORKED FOR THEM AND THEY TOLD ME THAT IT'S A COMPLETE SCAM!!!!!....JUST TELL THEM THEY U KNOW FROM WHERE THE CALLS R COMING AND UR GONNA CALL THE POLICE ONTHEM AND FILE A REPORT AND THEY WILL STOP....   :)

For the past year I have been getting these phone calls using different phone numbers.  They obviously used a service where they can use 'dummy' numbers.  They even called me once from a '911' number!! I have reported them to the Attorney General in Washington who actually followed up and said they were a scam!!  Ignore them and I wish they would go away but they keep calling periodically sometimes many times in a short period then nothing for a couple months then it starts again!!

I received a call from these people today as well.  I have never dealt with the US Cash Services and they say that I am going to be arrested tomorrow. Any ideas on what I should do?

i get calls from the above number. harrassing me on my cell and my work number. They have a bad accent. telling me not to disregard this call. That i need to contact them or have my attorney to contact them. I also called the federal trade commission to report them as well.
They contuie to call me two to four time in a day.

Received call from Atty Tom Reed who has an Indian accent and told me that I owed cash loan which I know nothing of and that will be arrested. The call is from Washington DC. This is a scam.

they call me once every couple of weeks heavy accent and they say there name is sam rogers give me a break that there a attorney

these people have been calling me and harrassing me at work with a thick indian accent telling me they are from the law office of peter bronstein in la ca. i looked that firm up and this is not the number ...

These people are also calling me stating its from Ron Iten law firm in Long Island.  They have called me harrasing me several times and always state a different law firm.  Is there some where I can call to report them.

I have gotten a call at work from this number threatening to put me in jail. This Ron guy said the sheriff was going to arrest me tommarrow! He just said he was a senior attorney.

LMAO - I talked to them drilling them w/ questions...  They hung up.  I called them back and did the same.  They hung up again.  I proceeded to do this about 10 times.  I could tell they were getting annoyed.  I will probably do it again every day going forward for the next week.  As a side - I have done a lot of research regarding what places can & can not do when it comes to loans.  They can not have you arrested.  If they want to have you show in court, they will first serve you a summons.  They must also serve you befor any wage granishment can occur.  I am thinking about starting a web site that you can post a D-Bag allert (Collector) and have the PC autocall the number every minute, just as they do.

this company called from 202-600-8292 saying his name is Mr. Wilson from law firm Peter Bornstein. from Washington area, but when you look up the law firm there are (3) law firms:  out of Denver CO, New York NY and Los Angeles CA.  this is a scam and do not fall for it.  i do not have any debts with loan companies and they are a SCAM.  when you call back you get some guy all the time using diifferent names and it is SCAM

CROWE LAW FIRM IN WASHINGTON, AND WHEN YOU CALL THE NUMBER BACK IT SAY THE NUMBER IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE. BUT I HAVEN'T GOTTEN A CALL FROM THEM AGAIN YET. I have been calling from work saying that I owe them money.  I will be calling the Det. on this and letting them go from there.  I have the number and they can get the address.

just got a call said don wilson with thick accent said i owe 432. but with atty fees 887 the money was put into my checking account in 11/08 did have a checking account back than and nothing was put into my saving. said i will be arrested tomorrow her in florida. this is a scam. the law office name was thomas k. crowe law firm.

First someone named Tom Reed  called and i was at lunch, they called me at work, then a Gary Johnson called me back and then they put on Ron Adams.  It was regarding US Cash Services which I have never dealt with.  When I started asking questions and told them i had reported this to my local police department that it was fraud, they hung up on me.  This happens to me every couple of months, the sheriff has never came out and arrested me yet.  Ask lots of questions and they will hang up on you. BEWARE it's fraud, big time!
