If you want your number removed from the AICR calling list call
1-800-843-8114  tell the person that answers that you want your telephone number removed from their harassing calling list.  She will ask for your name and number.  I gave her our number and last name that is all they need.
Try it and just maybe we can be rid of this well, have to watch my language.

AICR leaves no message.  Calls 3 or 4 times a week & on weekends.

Getting calls from the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) almost on a daily basis.
They do not respect the Do Not Call List.

Get numerous call from AICR. I never answer their call and wish they would stop calling. I would never give them any money.

They call at least three times a day and have been doing this for several weeks. I cannot find a way to get them to stop calling me or identifying them.

Calls about 4 times every day and  ever leaves a message.  I finally had to block their call

I don't know who they think they are but if they are Cancer Research as you indicate they will never get a donation out me by calling at 8:20 AM on a Saturday Morning.

AICR...same complaint as many here, calling constantly every day, never answer when I say "hello" although I can distinctly hear activity going on in the background.  Even though I receive no answer, I ave said to them not to call my number any more, a request, of course, they do not respect. The only satisfaction I get now is that when I see their name and number on the caller ID, I pick up the receiver  and hang up immediately.

Continue getting calls ... NEVER ANSWER ... NEVER WILL ... thanks for CALLER ID.  They never leave a message, so it must be really important.  

By the way here are some of the other numbers from the same source trying to trick people into answering.  

202-607-2813 ... additional numbers of last 4 digits -  2763, 2770, 2809, 2805 .  Stupid people and company.  IGNORE them!!

Received call on 8/30 from 202-607-2770.  Caller id shows AICR.  I do not want whatewver you are pushing!  Stop calling me!!!!!!!

This outfit called the AICR should be put out of business.  They call so many times I have lost count.
I don't have any idea how to get them to stop.

I am so tired of getting a call from 202-607-2770, as well as their other number of 202-607-2809.  One could not answer the phone even if you tried with only two rings and then hangs up.  Shame on you people!

They are at it again. I blocked the calls for a while a month ago and the calls stopped. So I took them out of the block list. Now they are blocked again.

I am writing this email to tell you I've had repeated calles from this fradulent outfit/or persons.  The caller rings and NEVER leaves a message.  Anyone who repeatedly does this should be prosecuted.

I have received several calls from this # and been charged $1.25 for call return.  What's the best way to get off therir list and charge them the fees?

These numbers (there are a series of them, very close last four digits) but they never respond when I answer the phone.  They have been doing this every day for weeks.  I am so tired of it!  If they are trying to sell me something, you would think they would at least respond when you answer.  Who can run a business and never talk to anyone?  Calling our AG is a good idea; think I will do that tomorrow!

They call all the time. Its AICR (American Instutute Cancer Research) and they never give up.Call AG for your state every day they call or fax form lettrer each day they call, to AG.

I keep getting these calls and when I answer, they hang up or it rings busy.  I do not want these calls, so please put it on my unwanted call list.  Thanks

I answered the phone, and the guy asked me for someone elses first name, but, did use our last name. When I told him that person did not live here, he replied " oh so there is no ** lives here?" I said "no" and he said "thank you and hang" up. I thought it was very, very odd that I had just used the name he mentioned in a post on my facebook wall. For real, I wrote a reply to my sister and used initals for the persons name. And as soon as I posted it, I got a call for the person I had put initials of. ...I hang up and hit *69 and this is the same number that you all have posted about that called me also. 202-607-2770. talk about a spooky feeling on that one...I receive calls from this number like every day and they always hang up before I answer, until this last time.

They called yesterday and they called again today, of course, I did not answer.  I don't answer calls unless I know who is calling.
