I recieved a grant phone call from A man claiming to be from the governmet giving me a grant for $7000 and wanting me to send $131.00  for charity for the American Red Cross. I truely could use the money but am not willing to throw money away to a scam. The Phone number he gave me was 202-470-0726 his name was Gary. He had a India ascent. He wanted me to western union the money to Dehhi India.  Talked with the American Red Cross and they had no clue of this. These people need to be stopped from scamming.

I am registered on the National do not call list and this guy is calling anyway. SCAM! They said I have $7000 uncollected money from the government. NOT!

I just received a phone call from a unknown number on my cell phone. The man with a heavy accent by the name of Oscar Berus. He was telling me I was picked to receive 7000.00 from the US Goverment. The first call I received was yesterday. It was about a problem with my Microsoft errors. The same person. This man gave me Branch approval number. I was suppose to call Steven Moore at 202-621-0402 a accountant manager. It's a scam. My cell phone isn't in my name. I never use this number for anything but family. I reside in D.C.. So I called that don't have a clue what I'm talking about.

I Also believe this to be a scam. They have done this to me two days in a row. First day the numbers were.  202-241-9996. The number that person wanted me to call was 202-470-0726. The person on the second line was Gary Gobrie. Both men spoke of this 7000 grant money and both spoke in heavy indian ascents. They gave me my numbers but wanted me to send them money through western union. 150 for some kind of charity. The next day the first # was an unknown # which is someone I never give out my info to. He have me this # 202-621-0150. So I decided to look it up and this page is what I found. These men also had heavy Indian ascents. To me they even sounded like the same people from the day b4. The supervisor name was Steve Dawnson. If your going to give a grant then you should never need to send something to charity first or give anyone your cc numbers first. Especially if you cam barely understand this person. If it's government money they should have an American who talks plain English giving them out.

I received a call from this number. A Middle Eastern sounding person or indian accent said they were calling me from Washington DC, US Grants Department and I had been awarded a grant of $7000 that I would not have to pay back because I was selected from a survey. He gave me my money confirmation # and the ph# to call to claim it 202-621-0150. The address they gave was 200 indepenence sw ave, ny, ny, 20201. The names they gave was mike jason & steve dawnson "accountant officer". I definitely know it is a scam. Please ignore "out of area" calls that are blocked, forwarded and suspicious. Just remember "YOU" scammers wherever you are, the FBI will GET YOU and LEARN TO SPEAK GOOD ENGLISH
