They have called me for a couple of weeks from an "unknown" number and I kept telling them the signal was bad and hung up.  I finally listened today and Christie Johnson (sounded eastern european, maybe Russian/Ukrainian) wanted me to load a PayPak card with $350 and give them a call while at the checkout line.  I kept acting confused and saying "my money, I have to put my money on the card? Why" She said it was to initiate the card so they could load it all.  I finally said I would have to find $350 first and that would take a few days because I was so poor.  I almost laughed when they said I won because I did not declare bankruptcy, but I did less than a year ago!!  The script was the same as reported here. I suspect this is Obama's response to being called out on his NSA phone spying program. Someone's got to pay for these secret government programs Edward Snowden keeps leaking to the press.

They have been calling me alllll day while I'm at work first time was a lady and every time after that it was the guy with the deep accent. He straight laughed and asked if I was crazy because I was asking him where he was from and what this ID# they gave me had to do with anything. And then he wanted the ID# continued to ignore any questions asked..

These people are wakooo and have nothing better to do with their lives apparently... Don't ever believe a word these people say!!

There are no grants available from the US government that you don't formally apply for.  If you used one of those green-dot type money cards your money is lost, but you can protect yourself in the future.  If anyone calls you offering something that seems to good to be true, it probably is.  Especially if the person calling has an Indian accent.  These scammers like to pick on single women, single mothers, the elderly and recent immigrants.

I just received a Call from thr Gramt one time, retorn money Scan ,thats all it is, and if the Goverment is not doing nothing abut it they are wrong, somebody should be doing something about it, couse they are scam ming a lot of people, as if write now, The y are harrasing me on the phone all the time, liying and cheeting every body. PLease If any body calls you on a lie like that hang up the phone.

I got the same phone calls.... I agreed though and called back sooner after telling this "Oscar preze" that I did load the card and what my next steps were. He clearly got over excited. So I after I let him talk for a bit. I called him out on his scam. He didn't like it and tried to convince me that it was real. Soon after. The next day I keep getting these calls. 2-6 calls a day. So I decided today. I called over 20 times and harassed them. Over and over. Now they won't answer my calls. At one point the lady was answering "hello bi***". Of course I cussed her. She called me a m@$&/? F****** first ... So after that u called and called. I cussed every one that answered. And when asked what do u want from me. I simply said I want to harass u the way u harassed me. I told u guys to take me off ur list you u guys didn't want to. Sooo now I'm letting u know it feels. Sooo I said cussed them in way to ways..... But they asked for it. Now they won't answer my calls. I hoped they learned something. Also "oscar preze" called me a stupid American. So I also said racial remarks back. Oscar did start with me first. That's what made me to angry.

I received a call from an unknown number stating they were calling from the United States Federal Grant Department and I was given a grant for $9,200. He did not know my name or asked any questions just that I was to call 202-657-6412 and give them ID number they gave to "receive" my grant. The caller said his name was Tyson Moore and his ID was 2021563. I called the United States Federal Grant Department and had it reported. She gave me a website for further information FTC.gov. I would suggest if you receive a call from the unknown number offering you a grant to call the actual US Federal Grant Department immediately. Their number is 1-800-447-8477

. I'm glad I decided to do a reverse number look-up and check them out. That is how I found out it belonged to a cell phone.No legitimate company or firm would use cell phones during business hours, and no place of business would call after hours. You saved me from a 350 dollar loss and an unwanted lecture about trusting people.

dept of health and human services called and congratulated me on being an upright citizen (able to walkeupright), loyal taxpayer (we have a choice?), and all around nice guy (ask the two x-boxes to whom funds are routinely sent).

At any rate, because of my fulfillment of the above cited criteria I qualify for a $9.2K federal grant which will require no payments -- just a prepayment of $350.00 American (apparently they have a good deal on converting dollars to camels) to the Dept of Health and Human Services Green Dot card.  (I wonder if I can pay my quarerly estimateds to the Dept of the Treasury's Green Dot card.

I've referred their contact info to the State Department of Consumer Protection for follow-up.

...This unknown number called me, "dude" on the other end told me that I qualified for a ONCE IN A LIFETIME GOVERNMENT GRANT because I pay my bills on time (yeah...occasional lateness) I have never filed bankruptcy, have not been in any trouble legal and have not have any  bad reports from the IRS. He reads his script and gives me a number to call. I call "John Spencer" who has a deep accent, but his name is John? (I'm not stereotypical, but come on) Anywho, he reads his script and goes through the steps on how to get my $9,200 government awarded grant money. I began to ask questions, make comment, provide suggestions on how to get the money without applying my $350.00 to this Greendot card. OH, homeboy did not like this, he gets mad and says, "you don"t want to work for the card, you think you are just going to sit there and just get the money". I replied, its a grant for my good citizenship and no I don't want to work for it....wait I am working for it, I have to drive my gas to go purchase the card, take my money add it to the card, call you, Mr. Spencer back then wait on the phone for 20-40 min while you load MY $9,200 on the card. Or should I say reverse or extract MY $350.00 that I just loaded off of the card. Then the signal will get lost or some type of phone issue will occur...the phone is silenced and then it hangs up.
I called back to see what happened...they just ran around and around. I hung up!!!
