Same scam, different day. I post & sell a lot of things on c/l and other sites. This # has come up 4 times in the last month for different items. As soon as I get it, I tell them that CA$H is the only transaction I will agree to, no more communication.

Craigslist scammer. He formerly used the phone # 318-906-0560, read all those posts. He wanted to buy my motorcycle for his son as a birthday surprise. He claimed to be an Engineer for Don Pedro Offshore oil and wanted my paypal email address to make an immediate payment. He even sent me a "link" to setup the paypal account.

It's someone's grandmother using one of those "Consumer Cellular" phones. Do you want me to post her name and address here so that every scammer on the Internet will bug her to death, or would you prefer that I go over there and beat her to death with her cane?
Honestly, people. I don't think it is the purpose of this website to publicly harass every person who ever dialed a wrong number and to subject them to all kinds of stalking behavior just to satisfy someone's idle curiosity. Would you like to live in fear that someone would do that to you the first time *you* dialed a wrong number?
If you really need to know, search on the Internet for the number. Pay to access a commercial service. Or hire a public investigator. Or wait until someone finds out it's a junk call and places that information here on this web site.
