GOVERNMENT: PLEASE HELP CLOSE THE PEOPLE BEHIND SCAMS.  THEY ARE BROKEN ENGLISH PEOPLE MOST OF THE TIME.  THEY CLAIM TO BE FROM THE UNITED STATES GRANT DEPT HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES.  THEY WANT CITIZENS BANK INFORMATION TO DEPOSIT GRANT FUNDS.  BULLSH@T. THE CALLER ID SHOWS UP NO CALLER ID.  I ASKED HIM FOR HIS NAME AND I BELIEVE HE SAID "Malk" "M.A.L.K.". HE ALSO GAVE ME THIS NUMBER WHEN I ASKED HIM FOR A CONTACT NUMBER 202-986-5231.  I GIVE 800notes.com the authority to FORWARD THIS INFORMATION TO THE PROPER AUTHORITIES. I AM SICK OF THESE B*****DS SCAMMING THE INNOCENT.  GOOD LUCK, DOGS. ALSO AFTER I TOLD HIM I WAS A VERY BUSY MAN.....HE HAD THE B@LLS TO SAY HE WAS BUSY TOO AND HUNG UP. LETS NAIL THESE B*****DS AND CUT THEIR FINGERS AND THROATS.

They told me that I had won a grant of $7,500 just had to pay them $300.00 and they would send me $7,800. They must think that I am crazy.

I just got the same call with the same info. I thought it was real at first but after i called back with getting the info i figured it was a scam. What happens if i have them my information?

Received phone call advising me I was awarded government grant. phone # was 202 684 6935. Said they were from the "US government grant agency" and that they would wire grant money to western union location. SCAM.

I suffered through the bad English to get the phone # to call, then looked up the number. I figured it was a scam. I see a 202 number frequently on my caller ID and wanted to hear the story. Looked up the number on this website. These poor people in India who think we don't know their real name is NOT Charles or Karen, I bet they call because they only get paid if someone actually follows through!

I recieved a call from an unknown # so I decided to go ahead & answer. The man on the line had stated I was approved for $7500 in Fed Grant Money...he was really hard to understand. Some type of Asain accent. Well he gave me this confirmation # TK557 & this # to call (202)684-6935. I called the # back 3x's & no one picked up. Approximately 5 min later I get a missed call & then a 2nd call back. I answered & just like u guys r stating her name was Tracy. I told her I've heard of these things b 4 & I told her that they were all scams. She tried to reassure me... I told her absolutely will I NOT send $300 to hold as a deposit! Then she hung up saying well then I can't help u! I told her wait ok I'll do it! But then found this web site! Absolutely out their crazy minds!!! To anyone out there DO NOT DO SEND THESE PEOPLE ANY OF UR MONEY! U WILL NOT GET IT BACK! THEY ONLY ROB U! BIG SCAMS!!!!

I received a unknown call giving me a confirmation number and a phone number 2026486935 Tracy. She said I had to have $300 to get a grant for 7500. I know better. But what about the people who don't know better. This is horrible and should be stopped.

Total scam... Be careful because they could hack your information with name address an DOB.

I don't know who te report it to, I simply started laughing when te lady said I needed to send her money to get grant money.

She got very upset and called me a "f****ng American bi***". I thought it was ironic that they use the US in their title yet they hate Amerians.

I continued to laugh and told her I didn't have any ID so I couldn't Western Union anything. She was like that's ok, borrow someone's. I started laughing at her again and she yelled at a few profanities and hung up.

The number they called me from is 0000121233.... This is totally a scam. I played along to see how much information I could gather on this scam. She asked me to confirm my name and so I gave her a fake name- she said "That is correct" then she asked me to confirm my birth date, so I gave her a fake date and again she said "That is correct you are confirmed." So obviously this is clearly a scam to gather information.

Next she told me my options for the "grant" were DIRECT DEPOSIT or WESTERN UNION. I told her neither and to just send me a paper check (just to see what she would say), of course she told me that cash or direct deposit was the only option and that I should really do direct deposit because the Western Union option would require me to send them a $100 processing fee. Ha!! SCAM!!!

So I pushed the envelope and asked what information do you need from me to get this grant? She gave me a "confirmation" number KS107 and told me I had to call her "manager" at 202-684-6935 to give them my bank account information. The call disconnected at this point and of course I didn't call the 202 number. PLEASE PEOPLE- THIS IS A SCAM! TELL ALL AND DO NOT GIVE THEM INFORMATION!

Wow this is soo funny she on the phone right now ... 202 684 6935 was the number i called and she wanted me to go to the cash checking place with 300$ .... F*** Outta here ... she justed hanged up lmao

A man with a very thick East Indian accent called me from this number 000-012-1233 and said he was with the Federal Grants Dept. and that I had been approved for a grant. His Indian accent was so bad I had trouble understanding him. I questioned him (knowing he was a scam already) and he said the Federal Grants Dept. was part of the US Health and Human Services Dept. I asked if there would be a "processing" fee or such to claim my money. He said "no." He wanted to verify my age, address and whether I wanted to get the money through Western Union or added as credit onto my credit card. (Like I was going to give him that information. Scam-boy Deepra then told me to call 202-684-6935 and give them the special Western Union ID # (that he gave me) to claim my money. WARNING TO ALL:  If you see a number with a 000 area code and the other phone number digits are sequential (1,2,3,4,....) it's likely another scam. My advice -- and this isn't PC --- if it's an East Indian voice --- just hang up.

Thank God I google the number. I'm a stay home mom 7,500 does sound great!!! and I was like thank you God Im bout to pay all my bills and ball all my kids out... until she told me I had to put $200 on a green dot card. WOW! trying to scam me in. the AM and I'm trying to get my kids ready for school. I really wouldn't mind meetin?g these people face to face>:( with my emotions.

I reported her to the FTC.  The FBI fraud unit.which you can find on the internet.
Ever since I was approved for disability Ive been receiving numerous scam calls.

I've been getting calls from these odd numbers for weeks now, but I always chose to ignore them. The one time I decide to listen to what they said, this guy named STEVEN HEFKEY (obviously a fake name) spoke to me and told me that I have been chosen out of 1700 people to win 7500$ because I have no criminal record, and I pay all my bills back. I was extremely skeptical but secretly excited at the fact this could be true. Same thing occurred with me verifying my information & then him asking how I would like to receive it. I chose western union & he said okay I'm giving you a conformation code, & my managers number to confirm this call. I called as soon as I got off the phone with "Steven" & a lady named TRACY picked up. She told me Id have to take 300$ to western union, etcetc & to call when I have the money & shell just put my grant on hold. I'm not going to lie I was very excited after I got off the phone, but extreeemeeely skeptical. I googled the phone number & I found this site. Soo excited I decided to look it up before paying that money (which I was going to do tomorow). Phew!

I just received a call call from 202-684-6935 and the lady name was Tracey and she said I had to send money and I would get the 300 hundred back Plus the 7500 but I found out it we all a scam it really sucks because I could really use it im glad I seen this before I went for it

They tryed to get me to send them 300 to get 7500 and when i told them i didnt have she said call me back when u get it and we can get you your money with in ten mins the 7500 and my 300

They will give you 7500 grant if you send them 300 dollars via a green dot money pack.  Her name was tracy

Been calling me since last wrek, n i fell for het scam n then i blessed her out so good i lost my voice, then she had the nerve to call me back n ask did i hang up- OMG She goes by the name of Tracey Ross and her supposedly employee ID# is DR 364195384.SHE CLAIMS TO BE THE GRANTS RESERVE MANAGER. THE OTHER WOMAN NAME IS ANIA SMITH

I just got the call stating that I have won a $7,500 grant.  I listened to get some info to report and was given a "claim number " and  a senior account rep number of 202-684-6935.  While she was trying to get me to state my address I googled the senior account reps number and found these posts. I immediately said this is a scam and do not call me again and disconnected.  I immediately got a call, again from and "unknown" number.  I answered and the same women with a thick accent said ,  I did not need to hang up angry that this was not a scam.  I said that it was a scam and she said she gave me her senior acc reps number to call to verify.  I said, OK I call that number.  She said don't bother because I could call but I couldn't get the grant now.  Gotta love playing people to catch them at their game.  So sad that innocent, desperate people will be taken advantage of these kind of people.

Got the call today, 12-21-13. Told them I'd have to check with the DA's office and the Sheriff before I'd call the # cause I use to work for the County.  Ms Rose Allen said ok.  When I called the # she provided an hour later, there was no answer.  

I received a call from this number (202-684-6935) and they told me I could receive a grant for $7000.00 and since I had checked on grants I thought maybe I was able to get the grant to fix my house but it turned out to be a scam.  When I called back they wanted me to deposit $300.00 and then they would send me the grant money and the $300.00 would be returned to me but I do not fall for stuff like that so I told her I was going to turn them in and she hung up on me.

I had a same call this morning from private cell number which is also strange.
There is back noise seems like he is calling from government office sound like.
He said I can receive $7500 one time in a life time.
He gave me phone number 202-684-6935. First time when I called the number no one picked up the phone. Second time, a lady picked up the phone, she sounded like professional like government talk.
When I was confirming the conversation I had ealier, the phone got disconnected.
And I called back and there is no message eventhough no one pick up the phone....
There is no easy money like this.

Well they are still be in business because they just called me and said the same things. Spoke to an Indian speaking man who told me to call 202 # immediatley. After four tries (with no answer) finally on the fifth try I spoke to Tracey Ross who said the same things + options to get the money. This has been going on since 2011 and no one has caught  them. How can we get these scammers? Can't the FTC (Federal Trade Complaint) do something about these frauds? "SMH"!

I received 11 calls from UNKNOWN over a 4-day period. I finally answered because I was bored and it took the woman who answered several seconds to respond. It sounded like she was speaking from a very practiced script and her accent was so thick that I could hardly understand her at all. She said she was from a government agency and because I paid my bills and taxes on time and had no criminal record I was one of 15,000 in my area selected to receive a $7,500 government grant, all I needed to do was confirm my name and address. She then asked which way I would prefer to receive my money: direct deposit, Pre-Paid Visa or MasterCard, or cash. Just to see what would happen, I told her cash and she gave me a Money ID Number and told me to call 202-684-6935, confirm my Money ID Number, and that person would tell me how to receive my cash. I told her good day and hung up. Obviously very scammish sounding as I did not apply for any government grants and they don't just give them out especially since the government is SHUT DOWN!

I got a private call then given the number above. spoke with a Tracey Ross. Everything everyone said about this number is the same thing I got.

I got a call like this to. The first call was a private caller they gave me a second number to call. I called this number gave reference number. I was asked if I wanted cash, on debit, or in my checking account. They asked for a 290 dollar security deposit then go to walmart call them back once I got to walmart parking lot.
