Got several calls from this number telling me I had a cashiers check waiting to be claimed at US Customs. Anthony Rodriguez gave me the tracking number. I called the number to claim my package and spoke with a Mark Coleman. Mark told me that I had to pay over 4000 to claim my check for 875000.  I told him I was not going to pay that and to cancel it. Then a few weeks later Agent Rodriguez started calling me again with the same bull. Spoke to Mark again and questioned the scam and he freaked out yelled at me then hung up on me. I called our county PD and they said there is nothing that they can do cuz they are unable to track people doing it as these people are actually from countries such as Nigeria Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic.

Got a call from this number. Caller said he's Anthony Rodriguez from Customs Border and Protection in JFK Airport was holding a package with a check for $875,000 for me. He said I should call them at 718-303-2796 to verify. He also gave me Package Number but i didn't write it down

My dad received a call from a man who said he had a package for him and if he paid the man, he would send the package.  My dad asked what was in the package but the man never answered.  My dad didn't order anything and wasn't expecting a package so figured it was a scam.

I received a call too from Anthony Rodrigiez. He had a Spanish accent and claimed he was with DOJ. He said I won a prize for 800k from "Sweepstakes Winners." I asked why was DOJ calling me? Shouldn't "Sweepstakes Winners" be calling? Then he wanted to verify my address of which I have him another. Total scam!!

Very suspicious. My mistake was that I spent 10 min on the phone with him trying to verify his information.

Called me today too. Called my cell...that was their first mistake..letting me curse them for about 2 minutes was their second mistake....

Called and said I would get an $8400 grant. Asked for bank account info or credit card. I gave them a prepaid card # thinking it might be a scam. I read all the info here and never called the # back.

We received today I phone call. My daughter need to deposit 215.00 first and they will to return back $800.00. I don't know why I need give money first to receive money back from the GOV. . If someone believe in that write for us.

okay thats what i thought cuz i had that feeling and who has to pay money to get money and also why couldnt they take it out of the money there givin u i asked the person all that and he gave no good answers...

It is a scam - it is ILLEGAL in the US to require an upfront fee/insurance/installment - whatever - to receive a loan!

they called sayin they were gunna give us money but first we had to pay them 215 to donate to somewhere before we got our money we asked how do we know this isnt a scam and he just kept talking about everything.. so im not sure if it is a scam or not but my gut is sayin yes
