Threatening phone call to call or hear from my attorney.  Number called from 1-202-864-1220.
What good is do not call list?

I guy called me 2x times saying I have 45 minutes to pay him or he will take my car and my house and disable my social security number.  He said he was a federal agent.

Called me- threaghtened me -blocked the number after reading these threads and he called again- same recorded incoming msg- number 202-864-1031

Exactly the same call just came in here to my # in Los Angeles.
Virtually incoherent, talking too fast and without any believable details except the implied threat.
Obvious fraud, and stupid that the same # has been used so often!

Same message as Lisa Graves twice today.   I could not understand the accent it was so demanding. But tonight it was more clear. I called my som and he googled it. He told me it is another scam. The poor elderly, and the disabled. Shame on you SCUM !

just happened to us five minutes ago.  called us twice today, threatening messages........wishing us good luck if we didn't call back, I asked to meet with him at a local IRS office in my state........he said he has nothing to do with "the state IRS "  that made me pause.   there is not such thing, I asked for his supervisor, he declined, said i could meet in his office in DC tomorrow.  I said how about Friday, i will fly down to settle this.  He then hung up on me.  GFY

Received the same threatening phone call 2x today & he claimed my 14 year old son is wanted for tax fraud & an officer would be coming to arrest him. I recorded the conversation & notified the police

I received a threatening message from  a man named Ian to contact him about something.  I call the number, and the same guy answers telling me he is with the IRS and I am being charged with tax fraud.  I have 4 counts of tax traud and that an officer will be at my house to arrest me in 45 minutes me and I am going to federal prison for 3 months.  I finally just told the guy I googled his phone number, there is an alert with it, and I would be calling the police.  I hung up. Called the police, and he has not called back

Let me guess? Your caller had an Indian accent didn't he or she? Now you might ask, how do I know that? It's quite simple actually. Only the Indian frauds are dumb enough to spoof a 202 area code. Everyone in this country knows that unexpected calls from a 202 area code can only be one of two things. A political robo-call.....or an Indian scammer!

I got a threatening message stating that this was the police don't ignore the call and that if I do I'm just pressing my luck.

Caller has called 2x,saying this is the Police so do not exnore this call.Ask for me to call back.Also called from #202-4702490.
