You've been scammed.  Any money you sent them is gone.  You won't get it back.

If you paid by check get a new account number.  If you paid by credit card close the account.  This will keep the scammer from taking more money from you.

So I mailed in my travel confirmation and still hadn't heard back after a month and a half so I called today and all the numbers are disconnected?!?! What do I do?

I believe we should all get together with our complaints and SUE them!! Put them and their sorry  employees out of buisness cause they are dead wrong!!  They have claim to have no corporate office or any one higher up to take your complaints to. We gave dates for non peak seasons but was always told not available..they are a ripp off! Telling everyone I know along with the BBB

I took a Cruise thro them this past Sep. Don't get me wrong they did give me the run-around. I would call once every week because they would tell me. The date that I picked is not open and that I need to pick a different day. So I asked for a manager and got the date that I wanted. And after paying the $93.00 in the begining they wanted $197.62 more to book it. Once the $197.62 paid I was on the Carnival Cruise Line website and ready to go.

In reading the posts above I CANNOT BELIEVE how many people fell for these scammers.  People people people ... NEVER give your personal information to ANYONE who cold calls you like this with a free cruise or whatever.  Nothing is ever free.  People have had their bank accounts wiped out.  People have had their credit cards run up.  People have been unable to book their free cruises for when they wanted to go and then they had to pay fee after fee after fee ...

Remember, if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.  

Immediately report all scam calls like this to www.donotcall.gov.

It is a scam.  I paid 93.00 and now they want more before I book.  Sorry, wont get it from me.  I filed a complaint with BBB ( they rated them "F")  and I filed a complainted with Pissed Customer.  I want my money back.  This is a company full of liars.  I don't intend to stay quite about this.

I had the same exact thing happen to me.

I had the same thing happen to me- the rude agent and hanging up the phone. I am in the process of trying to book a cruise that- we paid for 4 people. When I called, the same thing happened-the dates were not available. They were supposed to call me back and I never heard from them. I WISH they would tell me that I have to pay more money.....I will give them a reason to hang up on me this time.....good luck to those who think that they will try this company despite all of the bad reviews- I wish I had read this prior to paying my money.

We had 61 people book a cruise with Land and Cruise Promotions and never got to cruise. Every time we booked a date they told us to pick another date because those dates were filled after telling us they would call us with the travel dates within 45-06 days of booking, that never happened. We always had to call them and they always said pick another date. It has been 16 moths now and it is still happening. They are LIARS and CHEATS! We also paid the $93 and was promised a cruise and it never happened. DO NOT BE SUCKED IN TO THIS OR YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF AND LEFT HIGH AND DRY!!!

Yes. They are full of IT. It was my birthday and over 100 of us booked and we have not gotten anything bu excuses. I fill find a way.

Yes you should! I called the today because I heard from them with the dates I requested. They where July 29, and Aug. 19. So when I gave them the call the claim they tried to contact me on June 7 but the line was disconnected. That was a lie. It was my sister number and has never  been diconnected. So now they tell me the only have the Oct. month open and that now we have a port fee of 197.00 for each per which their or 6 of us who took the promotional. We each paid 94.00 and that is all we were told to pay. They claim I signed an document with the understanding of port fees which was not true! I made copies of everything they sent me. I told her if I signed something fax the information to me. when she said she couldn't do that at the moment. It is a rip off and you will not get your money back. I called the carnival cruise line they told me that they do not have promotions with that company and that they never heard of them. I told the them that and they claim that they only use numbers. So I asked her for the number and she told me they didn't give out that information. So I explain that I was going to get a Lawer which is a relative of mine to get contact them. I want my money back and I'm to make sure I get it. So------ I hope you haven't been scamed to.

We paid land & cruise for 6 people, when I called to see what our next step was the phone #'s had been disconnected. They are now going by the name Travel Services.net. Never notified people that it changed or the new company info. We are not paying the second half of this. I believe they keep changing everything so they can keep peoples money. We checked with the BBB & they say this company has sereval other names that it goes under.

I keep getting calls from this # 202-870-5952. I don't answer it and they don't leave a message.  I thought it was from DC but at the bottom of this page it says it is from:

I don't know anyone there and would like them to stop calling.  I have heard of other countries calling and when you pick up and say something they will charge an outlandish amount to your phone bill.

Ya, I just got one of these. :| Automated, but they left a voicemail. Apparently it was just the tail end of their automated message, 'cause all I heard was "Press 3 to be removed" and it cut out.

I just got a call from this number( 2028705954), I wasnt able to pick up, but when i called back it was a lady saying "you are calling from number 571-217-XXXX" which is my number, and it said "if this is the number you wish to move press 1"...I mean,, wtf.. why would i want to move my number, and to where?... these calls are getting me so frustrated.

I am so annoyed that these calls are starting again. Every couples months they start. The same scenario its an automated message the caller ID will say something that makes you think it's a govt. call. The last time it was a different number but the caller ID said US Secret Ser and they were soliciting all sorts of things. I got the calls 8-9 times a day and they wouldn't stop no matter what. I tried pushing 2 to take my number off their list and tried speaking to someone. They either hang up on me or they cursed at me. I wasn't even being nasty at that point. i eventually had to block every number they called from and it stopped. Now they're back with a different number. 202-870-5954 ID said Washington DC. About 45 min before that a different number called automated message about lowering interest rates the Caller ID said Vet Center Depa 603-606-4912. This was the same automated message as in the past. They call late at night and 8AM on a Sat. They are relentless. I make complaints on the Federal DNC site every time too. I am also on the DNC registry. Have been for a year.

Just got a call from this #.  I don't answer if I don't know the #.  No message left...not surprised.  I'm on the National Do Not Call Registry.  Going to that site next to report this #.

I just got a call from this #.  It was a travel agency telling me that I won a sweepstakes and that I would be eligible to go on a cruise to Carnival (Puerto Rico?).  They gave me an option to either accept the offer or deny it so it could be extended to someone else...I thought about it for a few seconds and the call dropped.  How I wish these offers were true...I need a vacation.
