Phone call came in 5/16/14 from 202-870-5964 and phone line went dead.   Display shows "Line in Use"...

Just got one of these calls for my MIL. They called her by her first name so I knew it was a bogus.  Told the. She's not here. She has her own phone. Will tell them she doesn't live here next time.

called this AM at 8:26; caller ID indicated "Urgent Upate" so I  let answering machine handle the call. The call ended before the machine answering message was complete.

This number calls my home 2 or 3 times a day and hangs up when I answer. This is getting old!!!

This number is another one of those fraud callers.  Its time to get after the phone company who allows these calls through.  This one is 202-870-5964.  Never a person there, just an empty call...like they are.!!!!

These A**les called at 0830 on a Sunday Morning!!!!!!!!!  Then wouldn't even tell me who they were!!!!!!

This number calls and comes through on my call ID as "URGENT UPDATE."  I can't believe what these people will say to get you to answer your phone.  I figure if it's THAT URGENT, they can leave a message.  They never do.

Just rec'd another call this morning. I told them to remove our number (again). We are registered on the do not call list - all of our phones are and have been on this list for years. We are getting more telemarketing calls, political calls, etc. than we ever did before. A friend who worked in telemarketing years ago said not to answer the phone, but honestly they are not going to stop calling.

Calls does not respond when answered

Got a call from this number. But it says "URGENT UPDATE" on the caller id. I refuse to answer scam calls, but it's funny that they always hang up when the answering machine message gets to the phrase "Christian Nation". I'm tired of scam calls. My grandparents' home phone is on the Do Not Call list. And when I see a name like that pop up on the screen, it worries me that something may have happened to them.

I get several calls a week...sometimes caller ID lists the caller as Citizen's United; sometimes as Urgent Update.  I just let the answering machine take over, they never leave a message, so I never call back.  I'm getting tired of these calls, I wish they'd stop.  My phone number is on the Do Not Call list, but I don't think that system works anyway.

These scumbag basturds called at 8 am on a Sunday morning. Political call or not I don,t give a damn. I have a law group on retainer and I need to get my moneys worth from them. Tomorrow morning I will call, give the lawyers info and direct them to sue the hell out of these basturds whether we win or not!

I just got a call which I will add to my block list.  I will now get no ring but will get a list of blocked calls on my phone.
I have the Panasonic cordless telephone  Model kx-tg6842b (2 handsets)
You can block 250 numbers plus kill the one ring that existed on earlier models that only allowed 30 blocked numbers.
The one handset model sells for $70 at Amazon.

I called the headquarters last month. I don't care if they are left or right, they have no business inundating me with calls a month after I requested they remove my name from their list. Signed them up for ditching with a youmail.com account. THANK YOU whomever it was that created youmail.com!!! Ditching crass surveyors makes my life a little less hassled.

I list them as Prank since that's what they are after they refuse to abide by my request to not call again.

The caller ID says "Urgent Update" but it is still Citizens United. If you answer the line may go dead, or if one their phone bank operators does come on, they might play a lengthy recorded message spouting lies, half truths, and deliberate distortions, ostensibly to prepare you for a one-question survey.

Call from "Anonymous" at this number. I picked up on the 2nd ring. Nobody ever answered. I waited. They hung up on me. B*****ds. I'm reporting this to DNC. Like they will ever do anything. Pieces of s***!

Got a call from this number at 9:00 a.m. on a Sunday for my dad who died 4 years ago and was in a nursing home for 3 years prior to that.  As I was his legal guardian his mail has been forwarded to me for 7 years.  He was scammed out of over $100,000 before I took guardianship and 7 years later they still want his money.  I gave this woman a piece of my mind.

To Michael: I know what you mean. I have the Digitone call blocker. I blocked all area code 202 calls in Washington DC. This idiot called at 8:30am this morning, but what's great is the phone doesn't ring. Like you said: Best investment I ever made.

They're baack! 8:20 on a Sunday morning!  It's the Citizens United Victory Fund.  I called back- they're not even open until noon  on Sunday.  I very foolishly donated to some Congressional candidates in the 2010 elections.  Nevder again.  Maybe that's the point of these calls.  I'll never donate to another candidate.

202 number - Washington DC, so it appears "legit" - or at least as "legit" as "Citizens United" (which is made up of corporate interests, not "Citizens") could possibly be.

These people called me before 9 am three days in a row.  I answered on the third morning and asked them not to call me this early.  I haven't heard from them since.
