Didn't get to phone in time. Caller ID just showed number. Tried to call back and got a disconnect tone.

Found another website supposedly listing info to have yourself removed from the call list.

Got in touch with the web designers of a petition I signed because the spam calls started after I signed up for it. Called the website designers for the petition website and they forwarded me to a technical group. The technical group called me and told me they have been inundated with calls from people asking about the 202 number in the post title, but that they were not responsible for the calls. They did however give me this information which should stop the calls.

Calling this numbers should un-enroll you from the spammers with the 202 number. The nature of the calls I have been receiving has been political. If the content of your calls is otherwise, this may or may not work for you.

just got the call and its Harry Reid saying he and his party will not compromise and it does not matter as the republicans will get blamed for everything so they can do anything they want and the media will back them up so please send money to help the democrats or the IRS will get even with you

This number calls every so often.  If any call comes to my cell with "Incoming call" or NoName or NoNumber I just don't answer it.  If it is important they will leave a good voice mail and I will return the call.  Telemarketers have basically quit calling my number and only important calls are answered.  Just the phone rings does not mean you have to answer it

This is what I mean by people being ignorant about the things they talk about some people seem to think the no call list is a magic spell that prevents you from being called ,the no call list is compiled by the ftc then legit and I must repete LEGIT telemarketers have to purchase the list from them to scrub their marketing list of those numbers included on the list no magic spells so the only ones left calling you are criminals not legit telemarketers, do you ever wonder why when you ask one of these callers who their with they quickly hang up on you.shouldnt take a rocket scientist to figure that out

I got a call from this number today, there was the start of a message being left but
it was cut off and I could not understand what was actually said.  I too am on the DNC list,
BUT, I am also smart enough to know, unlike others apparently, that you have to fill out
the COMPLAINT form on the DNC list for this number, not just scream about it here!  Fill
out the complaints if you want it to stop people--not rocket science here!

You must be kidding,I havent made any calls gone to any websites out of curiosity and I recieve the same calls why do you think that is? they are Scammers, if you dial enough numbers your bound to find folks like you that believe your receiving the call in response to something you did its the law of averages thats why this crap continues because people buy into their scam and give them money or worse yet they steel your id.I know it takes alot to stop believing your so important that all these calls are seeking you out personally but try there are scammers all over t h e world setting up telephone banks to take money from ignorant americans

I only started receiving this call after I called the "stop obamacare" line to see what it was all about. Curiosity got the best of me and now I'm paying for it with a bot call from this number 4 times a day. Hope this helps.

Sounds like they're at it again.  Got another robo-call from this number.  I sure would like to know which of my facebook friends is the troll who signed me up for this number.  Blocking it on google voice as spam works.  I'm not calling their number to clean up their list for them.  This saves them money.  I'm perfectly happy with them paying for a call I don't receive.

This is a repercussion of a political petition I signed.  I want to be involved in my party but i don't want these weekly campaign calls!!! Makes me want to stop being involved.

Why cant these calls be stopped?

I receive calls from this number i do not answer  Im on the do not call list  how can this be stopped !

just received a call from 202-888-0217 - ignored and when I called the # to see who it is, message says "phone is disconnected or non-working". How can they get away with this?

I received a call from 1-202-888-0217 and no one was there.  I googled to try to find out who it was but I can't find out any information.

Have received several calls from this spposed disconnected number.  Call is in a foreign language and talks so fast no one could understan it.

I received two calls this morning from 202-888-0217 and did not answer to that one.  Then about an hour later another call from 202-559-7648... I decided to answer and heard a brief "Ah" from a man voice. Then he hung up and I decided to try to call these two numbers back and there were both disconnected...
This is really annoying, especially when you are sick and try to sleep after a painful surgery...

All the unwanted calls that I receive are from a (202) area code including this. So far, there are approximately 4 or 5 different numbers.  I am also on the Do Not Call List but it's made no difference.

I am going to manually block these numbers from my phone. Not sure why "no call" list doesn't block them.

I'm on the Do Not Call List.  How do these people get through?  What good does registering on the list do?
