I Log onto this site to check every now and then out off pure anger , I cannot believe these ruthless people still have the fake website, and still contacting people through career mines website. Has anyone reported this???? I sent emails to federal police Im in Australia, I so nearly resigned from my job thinking omg ive got my dream job. After applying for over 300 mining jobs It really makes me sick, how these people are still scamming genuine hard working human beings like us. Its just so wrong and they are still getting peoples hopes up and their hard earned money all over the world !!!!!!!!!!

FYI,
I got the same emails as described on this page.  Obvious scam but I have to admit they had me going for a day or two until I actually settled down and thought about it.  The fake website is laughable.  Then I found this page and what shred of remaining doubt was quickly erased.

What tangible, expedient and effective ways are out there to bust these pieces of garbage?  I'm gonna say there aren't any because the entire african continent is mired in corruption and busting scammers in Ghana or any other country is low on the priority list - never mind the lack of resources.

The old addage "If it's too good to be true than it probably isn't" ceratinly applies here.

I will say that of all the stuff on the internet, this is one site that I actually believe may slow society's decline.  Thanks to everyone who contributed and this site!!

Hmmmm I had this happen to me just last week. I got an email with my CV attached from Wilfred Adams offering me a great job in Ghana. Flags raised early so we googled him and thankfully found sites like this. Great job and thank you for giving us the heads up.

Thank God I found this site, looks like a pretty elaborate Scam, including a fake website.  I was told it was Ghana Gold Corporation, along with the nefarious Engr. Wilfred Adams which were offering me the job pasted below job.  I was initially concerned as he was using an @live.com email address.  I hope everyone who is contacted by this person sees these posts so they don't end up sending money.  I'm glad I didn't fall for it but it's easy to see how people can be tricked, stay vigilant people, I have also contacted careermine to let them know of the scam.

I discovered it as a scam because this guy asked me to pay to courier some documents that the Ghana Gold Corporation needs to send to me. It's not big money but why in the world that a big company offering hefty remunerations is going to ask for payment for the courier to be sent to me.  After I paid through Western Union for the medical certificate required to enter Ghana, I received a Ghana Medical Certificate which bears the signature of Minister of Health Alban Bagbin who, in my search in the web, was the minister but was already replaced in Feb 2013. I piece it together and search his name and found this website 800notes.com. Thanks for this site for alerting me. I was scammed but at least I was not drawn into the trap. I still maintained that 'if it is good to be true, it is not true'. Now is the time for making a move that this guy will not victimise anyone further. I provided him my passport copy and I am further afraid that it will be used for further illegal activities.

I was given a job offer, I accepted and made plans to leave for Ghana...then they said they would need me to wire money for an Anti-money laundering clearance fee...I looked deeper into things and began searching and found this site. I am gutted, I was really excited about the job.

yeah just got the same job offer through wilfred adams ghana gold coparation in ghan...please be aware of these scammers..they also use the name DR MICHAEL ASAMOAH to harrass for money for medicals amount of $710.00 australian dollars I was called up 5 times by this doctor pressing me to send the money. Thats when the bells rang for me.

DO NOT SEND THEM ANYTHING!!!! This address listed is my office address in Long Island, NY and there is no such listing company as our building consists of lawyers, accountants, etc.  The area code is for Connecticut and comes up as a landline.

I only know about this since I received a telephone call from a woman in Canada whose boyfriend received this job offer for the position of Millright.

I received the same offer thru a mine recruiting site in Australia on the 14/08/2013. I did not receive any phone calls from any managers of the company only emails from a man going by the name of Wilfred Adams.
They would not answer most of my questions and kept diverting from what I was asking about the company.
I actually have sent about 80 emails to them to get the correct answers and they have become quite arrogant and aggressive to me . They have started calling me from a number in Ghana , Africa (+233208398737), and have demanded that I pay fees for courier services, medical clearances and custo clearances.
I have paid initial fees for opening a bank account and courier services but have stopped because I have done quite a bit of research on them now. They keep changing email addresses, they want me to send money to people that I don't even know who they are . And now I can't even get onto their website anymore.
I could say more but I think you get my drift by now.
I will mention their names, but not sure if they are real.
