AIFS is the same as Camp America. So if you have applied to work on Summer Camps, chances are you got in and they are calling to let you know.

This is a company that helps place foreign exchange students. We were a host family for them last year and they are legitimate and always looking for host families for students living abroad for the year.

However I will tell you that it can get rather expensive being host family as the only funds you receive are tax credits at the end of the year, so be prepared to basically take on another child and pay for things that you would as if they were your own child. The exchange student is required to pay for all of the extra activities they take on and more but that is all explained up front.

I say do the right thing and become a host family if you are eager to help but be prepared is all.

I am not an employee of this company just someone that used their service last year.

So just to say they are a real company is the truth, they may be calling because you inquired in the past I'm not sure.

they called and hung up right after one ring, and I got about five calls a day from a restricted phone number that did the same exact thing... i'm guessing they are related
