Contact the phone provider and ask them how to block a number.  Since its your work phone you might have to go through the work person in charge of the phones.

Or put the number in your contacts list and assign it the ring tone "no ring."

Happening to me too on a work issued phone. Any way to block if not a smartphone? Can't download apps.

I have had a couple call and hang ups from this number. They never leave a message and never say anything if I answer. If I call back it says the # has been disconnected, so I assumed it was a solicitor. Thank you for your advice

Call is from a company called National Bank Card Monitor.  Scam company that preys on elderly folks with large credit card balances.  Make all kinds of promises and charges the person's card $599 upfront for "debt consolidation and low rate credit card services".  Based out of AZ and this call is sourced from CT area code so they are spreading their source points around.  Be wary, the predator is circling your wallet!!!  Do a Google search on National Bank Card Monitor and you can find out more info.

If I can find out who this is I will have my Lawyer sue them. if it is the same people from 3 years ago that I served a cease and desist letter to that was callinf for the person who owned this number before me def going to sue.

Your new number is somebody else's old number.  The pest is looking for the person who had that number before you got it.  He may have changed his number to escape from this pest.

I have a new cell phone and I get a call from this number each day. I have not answered it and put it on block but it still shows up on the missed call list. Thanks again AT&T (for nothing).

Or.... you don't owe them anything, and they are spoofing the number being displayed.  As you'll note above, some callbacks to this number show a disconnect.  So...scammers.  Rule of thumb; unless yo' mama or pappy has an 800 number, don't pick up.  99% of the time, you'll be wasting your own time by doing so.  If it's important, they'll leave you a message.

YES THERE IS If you have a modem in your computer with caller id...download phonetray 1.39 free app...install it and add numbers to the privacy manager list...set it to "zap call" and "auto" with one ring. The app will disconnect the caller on the 1st ring. You will never be annoyed again. If your modem has voice you can set it to output a list of messages. I receive a phone call from this number several times a day.  I ignore the calls.  Is there any way besides registering at do not call registry to stop this from happening?!

I have had several calls from this number and when I answer they hang up and when I call it back there is a recording saying it is not a working number??? Our home received one today and my daughter answered and ask for me by name and when I got on the phone they hung up??? I looked up the number to find I am not this person's only annoyed Victim!!! I wonder if they are going and reading our comments? I am not receiving any collection calls so it is not that, but I do think this person is calling a bogus number through their computer!!! To whom it may concern, please make this person stop this!!!

You owe them money.. . .  so they call you to set up a payment plan.
These are scavenger collection agencies who are trying to squeeeze all the juice from your wallet.
So if you owe them money or if you had a credit card that you did not pay.. . you will be getting calls like this one wanting you to make a payment arrangement.

Call me for Misty...some chick who had my cell phone # before me.  I get all of her collection calls now yay me..

1st call dead line, nobody would say anything.
2nd call a guy asked for my wife by name. When I said she was not available he said thank you and started to end the call. I asked if I could take a message he said no, lll call back later. Then hung up.

calling odd times of the day either early morning or later at night no one answers it or they leave no message if left for voice mail, never called it back but it seems to be yet another bogus company trying to lure you into debt consuling same thing different number type thing I think they change numbers monthly as not to be traced when the complaints file in.
