I just received this same phone call.  The man had a thick maybe indian accent, and told me to call Erica Johnson.  I felt like it was something fishy so I looked up the number and found that my suspicians  are true.  The minute I saw you had posted the same woman's name, I knew I was right.  It pays to investigate.  Thanks

I got the same call saying I was approved for a $5000 loan and same on me for sending them $320 by western union, now the money is gone.

i also got that same call and her name was Erika Jonson she said oh yes i have been trying to reach you then she said go to a western uion an send $320.00 bucks i said no i dont have to its the law if you are getting a loan you don't send money to anyone they are to send you check or do a direct deposit thats how loans work so she got pissed and hung up on me oh well if i had $320.00 i would"nt need a loan and by the way the loan was for $5000.00 bucks she said i got  but when she said w/uoin i knew it was'nt right so everyone be safe out there.

Annie called me to inform me I'd won a grant of $700. This money can't be used for illegal activity, only home improvement and such. Annie has a VERY thick accent and is clearly reading from a script.

At the end of a very tedious (and silly) conversation, she said I needed to call Erica Johnson at 205-216-5097.  I'm not calling, and I suspect this is a variation on the Nigerian email scams.

The called that I recieved from an India native from telephone#2222233333  a male,told me that i had been approved for a grant through Government grant program for the amount of $6,700.00,did I want cash or check(Red Flag ofcourse I wanted cash and check), then ask me my name and address, had I had a bankruptcy in the last twelve months? Was not behind in any of my bills ? (Red flag) I answer No.The male said I must call 12052165097 and speak with his supervisor immediately @12052165097 with a #mk121. I call and recieved a busy signal. the male called back  in about 4 minutes to ask me why i didnot reply imediatelyand insisted that I call the manager" I told him I got a busy signal and heard him ask her are you busy now. That was a red flag for me. So I called back spoke to manager informed her I was on a recorded line she paused and ask me could she call me back in 10 minute I said NO! give me the information now i am in a hurry,she ask my I put you on hold I said NO! she replied that i had been granted $6,700 all I had to do was get something to jot down the address to send them $250.00 in order to recieve my grant. I told her to forget it I was not interested and tried to hang up. There was amessage on my phone id that said check telephone line for about 5minutes(could not recieve or make a call). Is there something that can be done with them tampering with my phone line?

I got 37 calls from these Fing idiots yesterday, it started again today, and I told them to stop calling me and the person they are looking for does not live here, and I also said "you called me 37 times yesterday", he said FU, well if I ever find him, I will show him what an American FU MEANS!!!!!

i got like 4 calls this morning, one i answered and i told them no thank you...
i later called back to ask them to take my number off their calling list and a girl answered with an indian accent and told me to F*%$ off! i was like whaaaat?! and she kept repeating it...i thought i was hearing wrong because she would whisper and i kept asking her to repeat what she said she would and nope i heard right, i told her all i wanted was her to take my number off her calling list and stop bothering me she said only if i paid her $200 i told her she was crazy and hung up, i called back and a guy answered i asked where i was calling and he said to a private number, i told him what the girl had done and he said yes maam F*&$ off!! i was like oh hell no!!!

I just got a called from some guy named Shawn from US Grant Dept in Southwest Washington, DC and told me that I had been selected to receive $6700 in a US grant.  Then told me to call back to the SR. Manager Angel Harrison at (205)216-5097.  When I called back she asked me to go to the nearest Western Union and pay $380 and within 15 minutes I will get $6700 at the same Western Union location.  I told her I will not pay her anything and that I was going to report it as a scam.

I got royally scammed from them an truth is I was stupid enough to hope it was true boy do I feel like crawling under a rock an giving up.

They are a bunch of scumbags who make you believe that they are gonna give you a loan. but after you send them money they are not gonna answer your calls or return the money you sent... bunch of idiots and they're from India...

First you get calls from an unknown number then they tell you your qualified for a loan. I was just told I was approved for $7500.00 at 300/month. These people are scammers. They wanted me to go to W/U send them $700 to get my loan funded. Only because I got caught in this type of scam a few weeks ago I knew what to ask and do. What you need to do is call W/U a file a complaint for fraud. Then go out on the IC3.GoV website and make a report then file a police report for fraud. I hope if we all come together we can stop these people from victimizing innocent people. the number they told me to call was 206 215 5097 and said to ask for Angel Harrison the Finance Manager. This time I was not stuck on dumb.

Same AS above - 270.00. The Western union the money was sent to was in Seattle..The Person actually admitted he stole the money.

I got a call Fri. 7/13-2012 saying I was Approved for a $2000.00 loan. All I had to do was wire them $160.00 to show I could pay it back. I sent the money (LIKE A DUMB A**) and you guessed it no loan. I recently found out it is against the law to ask for money up front for a loan. So if you get a call from this number DON'T ANSWER IT!!!!!!!

I got called from this number. Promising me a loan. I paid $270 and I got nothing. I call them back and they either don't answer or hang up on me. So frustrating!

I just got scamed by them. Not a great feeling sending $135 and not getting it back I was trying to get extra cash becasue I needed it for my bills. Now my family is suffuring.

i got a call from this number wanted me to send them 360 i think its a scam!
