i been gettin calls from these mofos and most of the time no answer just - Beeeeeeeeeeeep..and sometimes i talk to this chick and she says i can save money on my gas bill and bla bla ...and idk how to block them ...cause its really annoying . they should do something about em ..its a big scam just to get ur info and someone should inform FBI or something so it can be prevented on time .

I have had these calls from this number and many others for months.  I do not pick up any calls I don't know who they are.  I figure if it is important they will leave a message, or talk and I will pick up.  The annoyance of stopping what you are doing to go get the phone to find out it is one of these SCAM calls makes me really mad.
I have put my number on a do not call lists but that hasn't helped.  The only thing that helped was go on line and find a disconnect tone with the message and record it in to the answering machine.  They stopped for a while.  That has a drawback.  People I wanted to talk to called and got the message thought my phone had actually been disconnected, so I took it off.  Soon after that the calls started again.  All of the wonderful things we have now people will find a way to abuse. Daily calls that hang up without leaving a message. Caller ID shows number only. When I call the number back to complain, I get a recording that says the "call can not be connected as dialed". I have received calls  in the past trying to sell natural gas cheaper than PG&E, but I am not sure if they were from the same caller.

I've received numerous calls from this number asking me to change my current service to this Spark company to save some unknown amount every month instead of paying high rates with PG&E.  To the first telemarketer I said, "I'm happy enough with my PG&E service," and the woman responded, "You aren't switching services, 'maam."  I said, "No thank you, we aren't interested - thanks" and hung up.  A few days later I received another call from a "gentleman" (and I use that term loosely) who asked me to go and get a copy of my PG&E bill to change services, and when I politely declined, his response was, "Enjoy your high rates then."  

I understand that these people do this for a living, and may even hate their job, but how on earth can they be so rude?  I've tried asking them to take me off their list, (as I'm certain most people do as well) but I still get calls none-the-less.  This is my parent's house that I run because they are unable to do it on their own.  It makes me furious to think that somewhere, people are getting deceived by companies like this because they think they are getting the best deal.  Nothing is trustworthy anymore!!  This is getting old....

Let my machine pick it up. A young woman said Hello,hello. then hung up. I couldnt imagine who would be calling me from area 205, caller ID said Canton Al, wasnt sure if that was a name or a place, so I searched the #. Very interesting finding all these comments.

I received a call from this number, and let it go to the answering machine. They left a message, and it was just someone laughing (a creepy laugh, might I add) and then they hung up.

These fools have been calling for the last 10 days. I don't think they will call again. The 5th time they called, I answered the phone and played along like I was really excited to hear from them. The woman at the other end said, "Yes, that's right, ma'am. We are Spark. We are a natural gas supplier to PG&E. So although you will keep getting your bill from PG&E, and you should call PG&E in case of emergency, and PG&E will continue to read your gas meter, for $5.00 a month Spark will supply your natural gas and you will see your PG&E gas bill go down by 30%." I said. "Great! I'm so excited! Are you ready for my credit card number?" And she said "No, not yet. I need to verify if your name on your billing statement for PG&E is the same as it will be for your billing statement for SPARK." I said, "Actually, No..." She seemed flummoxed. That was a part of  the script she didn't know, so she decided to skip it. "Okay, then, we're ready for your credit card, ma'am," she said. That was when I acted like I was confused. "Who is this again? Oh, yeah, I heard about you. You're that phone scam. That's why I've kept you on the phone this long. You're going to be prosecuted....Some day you're going to be sorry you did this because bad karma comes around, you know. Do you think your mother would be proud of you for what you're doing?" And she said, "It's just a JOB." And I said, "Some day you're going to get hit by a car and killed because of what you're doing. It's a very evil thing." And she said "That's no way to talk." And I said, "Yeah, well, when you do s****y things like that to people, that's what you get."

they call regarding PG&E stating they can save me money.  Received 4 calls, answered once told person I was leaving.

same thing here..answer the call and no one is there.  Twice everyday for about 3 day's now.  I've never heard anyone on the line and when I call back I get the # has been disconnected.  I'm glad I looked it up and now I can have fun with these freaks!!! yipee!!

I've just been scammed and I am afraid to disclose my identity in fear of being scammed again.
It was a typical grand parent scam.  
Because we love our grandson of much, we sent $2,900 to Lebanon to get our grandson our of jail for DUI
arrest under false pretenses.
The con artist replied to my attempts to identify him by leaving the telephone number 1-205-351-4823.
Where are our high force tech officers who should b e able to trace these scum down.  Dick

Asked to speak to someone in charge of PPL bills and I asked why and all I heard was static after that..no person, so I hung up.

Four calls in three days, no messages left...

Repeated calls without message left. Calls in the afternoon and evening. I figured this is a scam after checking out this site. What I want to know... how is he/she/it getting our/my number(s)?
