They call and hang up leave no message

I have been documenting each and every call received from these idiots.  I do not owe them any money and I have sued these same people in the past and received my $1000.00.  They call early in the morning and late in the evening.  The caller
ID shows the company name as Portfolorecovery.  I do not know how these people are allowed to operate in business.

Junk debt is worthless legally uncollectable debt they purchase for pennies and break State and Fed FDCPA and FCRA laws to collect dollars from innocent consumers.

Junk debt is debt they have no PROOF you owe!  
To old  beyond statute of limitations by state law.
    Already paid !
    Discharged in bankruptcy.
    Or a result of identity theft.

Just received a call from them at work and nine(!) other calls at my computer workstation. My boss looked up the number and is now calling the Texas State Attorney General's Austin office to complain about the harassment. I owe them nothing, and the old debts they bought are way out of reach now because of the statute of limitations.... but nine freakin' calls from them in 10 minutes??? The stock must be falling on these losers... beware. Once you answer a question about old debt, the clock starts ticking on that debt, and they have you...

Every day ... Several times. Never leaves a message, and no one there. So annoying!! They call day and night from different numbers

It seems to me there would be a law against these "telemarketers" (or whoever they are) calling people on Sunday mornings at 8:00 AM or at dinner time or after 9:00PM - There used to be a way to block these "numbskulls" from calling if you don't know who they are or don't wish to talk to them.

These guys hire out local du****cks who set up a dummy company to scam people into collecting debt. And by scam, no I do NOT mean simply calling you & harrassing you for money you owe. I mean, they take advantage of your current situations to get you to call them.
For example, my house had been broken into 2 1/2 weeks ago & a bunch of stuff was taken. Then these guys call me up offering me a "Free ADT Alarm" system with just having to pay the monthly "on" fee. They played upon the fears of my family in order to get us to pay our debt or get us in court. I think it may be for my Father but he's been dead for a few years & hasn't lived in this home for nearly 20 years.
Interestingly enough, about two weeks before our house was broken into somebody was trying to serve papers for my Father and my mother went ballistic on him. Makes me wonder if this is just a coincidence or if this company has some sort of "side contracters" that do whatever it takes, incl. robbing somebody in order to get some money.
Hmmm.  
Either way, that's a low-class scum way of trying to manipulate someone. Taking advantage of a tragedy & loss such as that just to get what's left over, lol which ain't s*** now. I guess they can come clean up the mess the robbers made cuz that's all they're going to get.

Two years ago, I filed for bankruptcy and all my debts ( I owed $2000 and ended up with $22,000 in "interest and late fees" from debt collector scums) were dismissed. A year later these idiots call me to collect on a debt that a federal court ruled on and I gave them my lawyer's number and the bankruptcy info. Now it is another year and they are calling again. They do not leave a message, have not sent a collection letter and no one is on the line when I answer the call. I plan to sue them for harassment as soon as I get something in writing from them or can get a recording if they ever come on the phone line. They are total A**Holes that constantly try to scam people out of money that did not even belong to them. I tried to pay the original creditors when I got back on my feet and they told me the debts were sold to bill collectors and they could not take my money any more since they no longer owned the debt.

I'm not sure about calls made on Sundays, however it is illegal for these agencies to call you after 9PM.  You could actually claim harrassment & relieve yourself from the debt altogether.  Make sure to record time & day the agency calls you.

They have called me twice today. It is Mother's Day. Really?! They contacted my ex (the divorce was final in '94 and we are not exactly friends). I have no idea how they connected me to him, or how they got his number.

These idiots started up again today.  I have a call blocker that will block up to 1500 numbers they can change all they want to but they will be blocked.  I can't believe that this type of scam artists can not be put out of business with the technology we have today.  I am on the state and national Do Not Call List which I refer to as "The Do Nothing List".  I know that these type calls are not covered on the list but they should be.  

They are SLIMY UNETHICAL CROOKED Collectors that TRY and collect on debts that are far past their statute of limitations. They also are known for TRYING to scam people to pay on debts they don't even owe.

They are LYING SCUM who will say or do anything to scare you into paying them ANYTHING.
They call in the morning before 8 am and in the evening past 8 pm, they even call on Sundays.
