THIS IS NOT THE ONLY SCAM....THERE ARE OTHER SCAMS SUCH AS SELLING VIAGRA/CIALIS 10TIMES CHEAPER WHICH IS OBVIOUSLY FAKE VIAGRA/CIALIS WHICH HAVE SEVERE SIDE EFFECTS WHICH CAN LAND YOU IN THE HOSPITAL TOO....THEN THERE IS A MICROSOFT ENGINEER CALLING SAYING THAT YOUR COMPUTER IS SENDING REPORTS (OBVIOUSLY MICROSOFT WILL NEVER EVER CALL YOU).THEY WILL ASK YOU TO FOLLOW SOME STEPS AND LATER TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR PC AND STEAL YOUR DATA OR WILL SELL YOU A FAKE ANTIVIRUS (UNLICENSED) WHICH YOU CAN GET FOR FREE FROM INTERNET....PLEASE BEWARE THAT IF ANY SLIGHT INDIANISH ACCENT YOU HEAR FROM THE OTHERSIDE OF THE CALL REMEMBER IT IS A SCAM...YOU CAN USUALLY COME TO KNOW WHETHER THEY ARE INDIAN OR NOT JUST BY HEARING THEM SPEAK OUT YOUR NAME!!! DON'T ABUSE THEM BECAUSE IT WILL CREATE MORE PROBLEMS FOR YOU BECAUSE ABUSING THEM WILL FUEL THEIR EXCITEMENT TO HARASS YOU MORE!!

FIRST OFF DON'T ANSWER THOSE CALLS..they will say they are calling from baker mckenzie,fedral crime network,FBI....EVEN IF YOU ANSWER IT JUST HUNG UP...WHY BECAUSE ANY LAW FIRM FIRST SENDS YOU THE LEGAL PAPER WORK...AND SECONDLY WHEN YOU KNOW YOU HAVE NOT BORROWED ANY LOAN THEN WHY BELIEVE THEM....NOW THE TRUTH ABOUT THESE CALLS ARE THAT THEY ARE FROM INDIA AND THEY ARE SCAM!!!...BUT NUMBERS APPEAR FORM THE  STATES IT SELF RIGHT...THIS IS BECAUSE THEY USE  PC TOOLS LIKE EYEBEAM.EYEBEAM IS A SOFTWARE THROUGH WHICH YOU CAN CALL FROM ANY NUMBER..FOR EXAMPLE I CAN CALL A PERSON FROM 123456789 OR 987654321 ..WHICH MEANS I CAN LITERALLY CUSTOMIZE MY NUMBER WHICH WILL BE DISPLAYED ON THE VICTIM'S SCREEN....NOW ABOUT THE CALL CENTER'S...THESE ARE SMALL SCAM CALL CENTERS WORKING IN A SMALL SCALE AREA FOR EXAMPLE A 1000 SQUARE FEET ROOM WITH AS MUCH AS 15-30 CALLERS AND 10 SUPERVISORS...THE CALLERS WILL CALL YOU AND THEY WILL ASK YOU THAT YOU KNOW REGARDING THE CASE WHICH IS AGAINST YOU AND LATER TRANSFER THE CALLS TO SUPERVISOR WHO WILL TELL YOU THE FAKE ALLEGATIONS AGAINST YOU AND LATER WILL TELL YOU THAT THEY WONT GO AHEAD WITH THE CASE IF YOU PAY SOME AMOUNT WHICH IS USUALLY $100-$2000 AND ONCE YOU PAY THEY WONT EVEN CALL YOU AGAIN EVER!!!...BUT YOU WILL GET CALLS FROM OTHER SMALL CALL CENTERS SO IT JUST WONT CEASE!!!!

So I got a call from these MFers last week with an actual number on my caller ID. Researched it and the number was from central Texas. Some INDIAN guy left me a voicemail basically stating what everyone else here is saying and that I can not ignore this call. So I call back just to be sure and no one answers and I get some shady voicemail and don't leave a message. So, yesterday I get a phone call from this guy and I actually get a chance to answer it! (By this time I had done my research on these MFers) the guy is polite and tells me what's going on very vaguely and tells me that he would transfer me to the person handling my case. I tell the guy that I don't owe anybody anything other than my student loans and then he gets edgy. He tells me the possible ramifications of being rude to him. I go on to ask him for his physical address in Austin, TX (where he claims his office to be) and he tells me that he is not qualified to be giving out details like that. So I've got this little f****r now. I raise my voice and say "do you really expect me to fall for this b***s***? You can't even give me your LAW FIRMS address?!" He begins to try and threaten me but I yell and cut him off. I told him that should he ever contact me again that I would find him and his buddy and dispatch them from this world. He told me I would see him in court to which I replied that I couldn't wait and for him to go F his mother. He then hung up. I doubt I will be hearing from these guys again although I somewhat wish I would.

They've been calling me everyday for the last two weeks. Today I decided to answer and find out about it all. Same story line as everyone else, same men, same accents, etc. They only knew my first and last name. Told me that if I didn't comply, I would be picked up by local law enforcement and would have to fight in court!!! Shook me up at first, but then I remembered that I don't owe on any loans except student! I never even took a cash advance/pay day loan. I called them back for clarification and the guy became upset and hung up on my when I became just as forceful as he was trying to be. I called than back again an threatened them with legal actions. Told them I knew all about their little scam, cursed at him and told him his mother should disown him! Lol haven't heard back from them since around 4:00PM

I've been receiving the same call from the same people, heavy East Indian accent, trying to threaten me as well.  Only this time the call was from Southern California, the town of Indio with a phone number of:  760-262-0981.

They tried this on me before but used a different law company name and lawyer names.  They're fishing and trying to frighten people into thinking the feds are coming to get you within 2 days.

If anyone else sees this, first thing is to demand they give you the case file number and MAIL you documents.  The guy I just got off the phone with told me F' you and hung up.

And I did owe a past bill on a pay day loan, so I thought it was legit at firls. And I panicked. Call your lawyer, the police, Better Buisness Bureau before your give them anything!

He had to ask someone word what I was talking about. Then when I ask to talk to his boss. They played like he didn't know what I was talking about.

They usually have a thick Indian accent, and it is very loud in the back ground.
They have started to call my ex-girlfriend saying they are a lawyer by the name of John Smith.
Do not give them any information and report it to as many agencies as you can.
They had allmy banking information and address and SSN# and had to put my bank and credit report on alert and eventually change my banking account info.

The calls started today again and they called my ex girlfriend 5 times in a row without a message and my cell phone 8 times back to back with no voicemail.

I also received a call from these guys, they told me I owed a loan or something, and they were filing a lawsuit against me. I called the place bank as asked to be shown some type of proof I received such a loan, and they said "See you in court" and hung up in my face, should be worried or ignore it?

He said they'd been monitoring me and money had been depositied in my bank account and I tried to take it out. But it doesn't make sense because I don't even have a bank account. I also had a phone call from a guy with a very thick indian accent telling me I owed $10-15, 000 and was going to be arrested.  I called back, was very pleasant and politely asked for a fax number (so I could send a cease and desist letter).  The guy told me, "suck my d*&$, bit$* and stop calling me" and hung up on me.  I have reported to the FTC.  It's very easy to file a complaint online.
