I just got a call from this number saying it was from Tuscaloosa. Did not answer it and they did not leave a message. I don't plan on calling back and will add them to the reject list! :)

Then it 'calmly' announces they offer a security system including a sign in your yard for safety in your neighborhood. The recipient is then prompted to "press 1' on the keypad for more information. If you do press '1' the call transfers to a live Representative. If you do not take the call then, but - instead - place a 'call-back' to the number 205-561-2454 you will get a recorded message prompting you to press any number on your keypad if you do not want to receive calls from this number. You will not reach a live Representative so you could tell them not to call you.  And PLEASE BEWARE: If you call back this phone number, DON'T press ANY number in response on your phone dial pad as --  an FCC Rep told me -- it will only add your phone number to call lists being sold to more scammers & telemarketers and you will get more unknown & unwanted callers!  
WindStream, who owns this phone number, told me the only way to stop calls from 205-561-2454 is to contact WindStream (at 1-877-340-2600, ext. 7733) and request that they notify 'their customer' with your Do Not Call phone number.  You should also file a complaint with the FCC, the FTC, and, the State of Alabama's Attorney General's Office; you can find the phone numbers and web-sites to all of these via the Internet.  This is more so a scam than a telemarketing call.

Follow that prompt to "push any button if you do not wish to receive more calls"...
And you WILL GET only MORE CALLS from MORE TELEMARKETERS!!!
That prompt is a LIE & SCHEME to verify that they got hold of a 'working' telephone #.
Their Scheme is to confirm they are selling phone numbers that will reach more people
- not fax lines, not disconnected #'s, not businesses.  They want people who will either
answer their phone or will easily call back an unknown number.

Blocked this number from before, called again today

A pre-recorded robocall about home security systems. Give them credit for recording a person speaking normally at first so it actually sounded like a legit call for a couple seconds. "Hi, this is Tom McPherson..."
The only reason I picked up at all is I have family in Tuscaloosa and thought it might be one of them.

Just got a call from this number. I didn't answer it, and they didn't leave a message. 12:04pm 5/12/2014. I hope they stop soon..

Blocked this number today.  Never answer any call from anyone you don't know.  Scam or worse...checking to see who is at home or who will give them information.

The FBI reports that there is a home break in every 7 minutes. We would like to put  a small sign in your yard and a free security system to monitor your home. I got this call right after dealing with the police and finding spy apps all over my phone. They want permission to monitor your home so my thoughts are its the one thing lower than a snakes belly a f****ng cop. I think they are using spyware to tap into peoples phones to spy on them violating there constitutional rights and knowing cops there probably getting a f****ng snitch to do there dirtywork  for them.  Good guy badges don't mean a f*** to me.     Badcompany

I received a call from (205) 561 2454 at 10:42 AM 04/30/14.  Caller ID displayed "Customer SRV".  I did not answer, they did not leave a message.

I got 5 call in one day.   who is calling me and hanging up.  I have also received calls from the fake FBI.

Would not speak.

I just got this call at my WORK phone!  The bad thing is - this number is ONE number off from my personal cell phone and I have been getting, for about 3 weeks now, calls from people saying they had a missed call from my number...IT'S NOT ME CALLING!!  Talked with phone company and they said they can't do anything but change a number I have had since the early 90's...they called it "spoofing" - don't know what's going on but will probably have to change my phone number!

We get at least 25 calls a day from this number.  It goes to every number in our building which are 205-266- numbers but comes back in on our main switchboard number which is 205-323-1508. Please locate and delete these numbers.

Got a call at 11:15 AM on April 29, 2014 ON MY CELL PHONE.  This was the second time from these people.  They need to be reported to the FCC but I don't know how to accomplish that.  - Same recorded FBI message - Must be selling home security.

Scam.  They put a sign in your yard and then try to talk you into buying a security system.  Received letters like that.

Both my husband and I have received calls from this person who insinuates that he is with FBI.  We both believe that "humans" like this one need to go back to the jungle and leave the rest of us alone.
