i'm quite skeptical. Just got called tonite. What was the focus of the dinner mtg? How does this group make money? Are they selling? Trading timeshares? How do they make their money?

They had 20+ people working for them.  They worked these people right up to payday in May, 2012, then fired them all, and told them they could NOT afford to pay their last paycheck. Some people also had the previous paycheck bounce as NSF.  Complaints have been filed with the Nevada Labor Board.  SCAMMERS!

Company is a Scam I used to work there, in Las Vegas on sahara & jones claim to invite timeshare owners to help them save money with annual cost fees, but really are trying to sale a new timeshare Or exchange it. Non profit my a** they get paid by having people show up for dinner or lunch & everytime somebody shows agent who set the reservation gets $50, completr scam I hated working there and quit.

I am Mike Wiley, the registered agent for the Timeshare Advocacy Group (www.mytimeshareadvocate.org).  The Timeshare Advocacy Group is a not for profit company registered in the State of Nevada and it works to improve the conditions that timeshare owners have to deal with in their dealings with Timeshare marketing companies who sell, rent or market Timeshare products.

The telemarketing firm contracted to serve the Timeshare Advocacy Group has recently installed a new software program to enhance the operation.  On Monday October 10, 2011 and Tuesday October 11, 2011, one of the supervisors duplicated the actions of another supervisor in resetting several campaigns.  This error caused people who had not answered or had an answering machine answer receive basically three times the calls they would have normally received.

When I was first contacted by one of those people, I at first did not believe them because it had never happened before, but sure as can be, when a system event log was pulled up it exposed the supervisor's error.

As an organization created for your benefit, we felt pretty bad to have let this happen.  However; as many people in business and industry know, there are always kinks in a new system and it does take time for humans to understand computers.  I am still trying to figure out every thing my cellphone does besides making calls.

first call was from 2059876543 second call was from 3176837074. called the 317 # and went to a voicemail. claiming to be an advocate group.

I mistakenly put the caller company as AT&T.  That is our phone company, not who called us.  Sorry AT&T.

We began receiving phone calls from this number several weeks ago and this was happening several times a day. They called us 8 times just last night.  Of course, we have been ignoring the phone calls the whole time with our caller ID, because we knew this wasn't someone we were familiar with.  When I had finally had enough last night, I answered the phone and quickly hung up.  That was the last call of the night, but 8 times is harassment and our number is on the Do Not Call list.

These people r stupid & harrasing, a few times I've screamed madly into the phone receiver and they still call back in 10 min. This is a no-call state and they need to go to jail or pay a fine for there harrassment!

Managed to answer before caller hung up; she was startled.  It is indeed about some timeshare deal, likely less reputable than the original timeshare sales pitch.  Told the caller I didn't ever want to hear from her again, and she actually got kind of belligerant, advising rather stridently that I just might hear from someone else.

Kansas Attorney General, and I suspect others, are supposed to enforce a no-call list, so I will be reminding his office.

They have been calling us to approx. 2 months we do not answer. We finally answered and told them no but they have continued to call. As a group they need to by each and everyone of use.

multiple hang up calls from this number....when you try and return the call, it says it's not in service.

but, good news.... It is registered to a Mike Wiley at 11016 Linden Leaf Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89144 (mytimeshareadvocate.org)   it's an automated dialing system...he's pitching a timeshare seminar.   please call him at his home number of 702-561-9887 as much as he calls you!  Enjoy.

Same story as to phone calls.  Have filed a complaint at www.donotcall.gov, with every bit of info I could come up with.  (U R indeed Welcome!)  If this continues, I intend to call Mr. Wiley back every time I receive a call from him.

Constant calls.  Multiple calls during the week and weekends.  NO msg.  Did speak to someone, asked to please stop calling.  RUDE!  Said he will call again later.

We have been getting calls from this number for the past 2 - 3 weeks.  They typically call between 5:30 - 9:30pm CT, and also during the day on weekends.

Hey, folks, go online to www.donotcall.gov to register to have telemarketers NOT call you.  This might reduce such calls.

This is an example of an automated call, now illegal in many states. Many times the auto call will not connect you to the person or "customer service"  agent on the other end, thus the silence when you pick up.  There is a way to file a comlaint though the court system, but it is combersome.

This number has been calling me at least 4 times every day for the last few weeks. They call day and night, on weekends, only 15 minutes apart at times. A message is never left on the answering machine. It's harrassing.

It's a new company (2 months old in Sept 2011) from Las Vegas called Timeshare Advocacy Group trying to lure timeshare owners to a lunch or dinner to discuss their services (another scam ?)  It is registered to a Mike Wiley at 11016 Linden Leaf Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89144 (mytimeshareadvocate.org)  Won't discuss it on the phone.
