I just got a call from this number on my cell and he left a message that his name was Officer Sam Smith and I needed to return his call today or have my Attoney. Then 10 mins later he called my work. And I told him to leave me alone .I got calls back in 2011 at my work place just like these with people using different names each time they would call. Also had a few last month. And when my husband would call back acting like he was my attoney they would hang up.I have reported these calls to our Attoney Generals office and they tell me that I need a address where these people are coming me from.Cause when they call the numbers they hang up.Why cant someone do something about these people.

A man with a heavy Indian accent calls stating his name is Officer Sam Smith from FAST CASH LOANS. He states that you have a loan that was never paid and you have a warrant for your arrest and wants you to send him money to western union or face jail time. He has the last four of your social security number and other information. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!! DO NOT SEND MONEY!!!!!! Especially if you know you did not take out a loan!!!! and if you did take out a loan, contact your own loan company, not these people. If someone calls you, tell them that you will have an officer in your local police department contact them. Trust me they will curse and hang up!!! Report this to the news station, your local police department and anyone else that will listen in order for this to stop. There are SEVERAL REPORTS on the internet about these people calling with this same scam.

I have received the SAME thing several times on my work and cell as well.  An "officer with the Federal Crime Scene Investigation" with a VERY strong accent, yet a simple American name (lol...odd isn't it)... and that it is URGENT that I call back before I am arrested at my place of residency or place of employment.  I just heard the messages today, so I plan to report this to the police as well.  I have had the calls before and told them they were slap crazy.  Threaten me if you want to but I KNOW I don't owe anyone any money, nor have I done anything illegal.  ANYWAY, I will let you all know if I hear anything else.  (UGH...very irritating that there are so many CRAZY, SCAMMING folks in the world!!)

Received another called this morning from the same number withs threats that I was going to go to jail if I did not pay this debt.  you can tell by the noise in the back ground that there are other scamer in the back ground  making these same calls to other persons, they told me I would be picked up at my home or my place of work.  I have not yet gone to the police but planning on doing.  If anyone with a heavy accent calls you let them know you are going to local authorities and the state attorneys office and hopefully the calls will stop.

I had this number call me and threaten that I was going to go to jail if I did not pay this debt.  It was a charge against my social security number and needed to be settled ASAP or I would be picked up at my home or my place of work.  I went to the police and reported them and when they called me back to ask if I had did the Western Union of my payment I told them I reported them to the police and gave them the officers name.  The man on the phone proceeded to use the F word with you several times and hung up on me.  BOGUS SCAM.  If anyone with a heavy accent calls you with this let them know you are going to local authorities and the calls will stop.

I have gotten these calls at work off and on before. The last time I had everyone in the office notified to let them know they were being reported to the cops & attorney general and to stop harassing our office. They quit for about 5 months and now they are  back to calling same names new number which I have found that they use the magic jack so they can easily change numbers and are prone to using cell phones. They are a huge scam! They never give you information and when you ask for it they start yelling at you and saying that the cops will be coming to pick you up. LOL they have never followed through on any of their threats, just ridiculous.

Yes I received the same call this morning at work, when they asked for me, I told them the person they were looking for wasnt here, I havent had a call like this in a long time, and I thought for sure they had stopped but guess I was wrong. I do not owe anyone any money and all my bills are caught up so I just laugh at these guys.

They call me and tell me I'm in trouble for not paying a payday loan, that I've never had. They say that if I don't contact them they will have the police come to my work and arrest me.  He barely speaks english. He says his name is Mr. Davis and he's a paralegal. He even called my work and left the same type of message, that's after I not so politely told him where to go and how to get there and what to do along the way.

These idiots called from a different number before and it is hillarious...  I told them before and had that I had the building attorney call them before and that I am not dealing with his scams.  He tried to cut me off and I just hung up the phone on him.
No call back.
I called the attorney and she says she is going to try and call it and do a reverse look up.  I just did that and it is a mobile number alledgedly from Sherman, Texas.
Anyway, I will post when I hear back from here...

I had the same type of call this morning.  I don't have any outstanding payday debts either.  I tell them to send me the court papers in the mail and to stop threatening me until they do.  I have never gotten anything in the mail.  Well, I had one number call me earlier in the week that was a fradulent debt collector (although I didn't know until now).  I told the guy that called me from this number and he is the one that told me about the other guy.  HA!  They are all full of ****!  I say, send me some paperwork and I will take care of it with a money order!  You aren't going to get any personal information from me ever again!

Just received a message both on my work phone and cell from some guy claiming to be an officer. He had a heavy accent.  Claiming there is a case against my social security number for money laundering, (an outstanding payday loan).  I know exactly where I stand with everything! AND I don't have an outstanding payday loans anywhere with anyone!  And I've heard that they have scammed a lot of people on loans!  My brother works for the FBI so I know what a real legal case is and what is  not! They give no case number or information regarding this supposed case! I've already filed this with my local police agency and working on a claim with the attorney general's office! SCAM!!! They have to tell you who has filed the claim! SCAM!!!  Be careful people!
