I have received numerous calls from this telemarketer regarding my Mastercharge card. When I told them I had no Mastercharge card, the hung up on me. I have Magicjack phone service and don't know how they got my private number but I have called them several times in a row and pressed 1 to have my name removed. My new hobby is calling them every few minutes and let their machine repeat their message until it times out.

They called me alot claiming to reduce my credit card debt. I'm 14 so I pressed '1' to talk to someone and they hung up on me.

CALLED ME JUST NOW WITH MACHINE SAYING TO HOLD FOR NEXT REP THAT NEVER CAME.  SOUNDED LIKE A MARKETING COMPANY.  NEVER HEARD ANY INDICATION OF WHO THE COMPANY WAS.

I held for a while to personally tell them to remove me from the list and no one ever came on the line.

I hung up and called back from my private cell # and it says thanks for calling back to stop the calls press 1 and I did and nothing happens??

Got the same call on my work number.  Automated message about lowering my interest rate to 6.9%.  I should consider this my final offer.  Press 1 to speak to a live person...

I just got a message from this number and all the guy said was "testing, one, two, three."

This number traces to Seattle Washington.

I got a call to my buisness number asking if I wanted to advertise with Google Search Engine.  The funny thing is,  I do the marketing for our corperation, and I already advertise on google DIRECTLY!.  therefor It's another scheme to businesses to get information that could be stolen and used to the benifit of themselves as theives.  It did say press 1 to add yourself to google search engines,  and 2 to not add to the google search engine.  then after it said press 2, it hung up directly.  Ya figure the scam peeps eon't want to waiste time on people that will not go with it so it hangs up quickly.  Infact if it really was legit, they want to hang on as long as possible to talk you into it.

Got a call from this # and they hang up on me when I answer. They are out of Seattle and the caller id Insider Events. Not sure why they are calling me when I have a private #.

I just received a call from this number (206.397.1533).  It was a recorded sales message purporting to be from Google and offering to list a business in Google's 411 directory.  This company is NOT Google and it is NOT affiliated with Google in any way.  It is trying to scam people into believing that they are buying something from Google, which they are not.  DO NOT BE FOOLED OR DEAL WITH THESE GUYS!

If you email security@google.com which is their portal for all google-related scams, you get absolutely zip regarding these scams like "Insider Events". It appears that all Google is interested in is the bottom line that their bean-counters give the boss, and they are NOT interested in the fact that the scammer-parasites like "Insider Events" are actually reducing that bottom line.

Called on 4/22/10 at 9:36 a.m., listed as "Insider Events".

I live in the Dallas area and have recieved one call from this number.  My caller ID displayed " Insider Events."

No message left.  comes up on caller id as "Insider Events"  Violating do not call registry & will report.

This number 206-397-1533 calls and asks (if you answer it) if you want to be listed in the Google 411 directory, if so press 1, if not, press 2......... I will NEVER press these buttons because you don't know if it's someone fishing to steal your number.....

They called me, the receptionist, and asked to speak to the business owner regarding having our company advertised on the GOOGLE 411 Directory. Judging by all the other responses here, it wasn't actually GOOGLE, I'm glad I didn't share our information.

These scumbags used an automated bot claiming to be from Google and asked for a "1 for yes" and "2 for no" for confirmation to Google 411 listings.

If I had time, or believed it would do any good, I would report to them Google.

answered call,, message said they were verifying information for Google 411 service...press one for yes and two to be removed from list...pressed one, male answered and asked my name...i asked him if he worked for google...line went dead.

It was the usual "lower your credit card rates" scam. Caller sounded Indian.

robocall claiming to advertise my bussiness on Google.  i have no business, this is a personal line.  i pressed "2" to decline like the robot said.  then it hung up.

Then why do you continue to answer the phone when you see that number????

I got the call from 206 397 1533 to my cell and I called back with my Magicjack (Which I just love becouse I used a nother name that I made up just for things like this) and the voice recording said that if I do not wont my name to be put on the do not call list press one. I call them back 5 times hoping it would tie up ther lines.

I received a call on my cell phone regarding a credit card which I do not have.  Using my minutes for their sales pitch is crazy.  I want it to stop!

Got a call from this number as well - tried to call back - busy. Most likely a scam or bad telemarketing.

Received a call to my business cell from this # (not the first) on 4/8. As always, an ILLEGAL automated message CLAIMING to be updating my business info for Google. I've started using Bing because of these calls. I hve reported them to the FTC, FCC, and their states AG several times always with the same lameassed response, a form letter saying basically that my complaint has been placed on file and forwarded to the appropriate authorities. Now THAT'S law enforcement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's getting damned hard to believe in a system that continues to sit on it's a** and allow scammers like this to continue to operate.
