calls numerous times & DO NOT leave a message

My cell phone is rarely on.  When I turned it on this came in as a missed call.

I have received two calls from206-496-0938 at 11:25 and 206-496-0484 at 20:10.  
I didn't answer either one.  Good luck to everyone else.

I also got a call on Sunday at 12:50pm from this number in Seattle, Wa and they left no message. So annoying.

Rcv'd call at 4:30 pm Sunday afternoon. My cell is a registered 'Do Not Call" number.
Didn't answer, figured it was another call from a company 'farming the lists'...

I had to call the number back and press "1" twice to request to NOT participate in any future surveys.  Hope it is effective.   Time will tell..

Got a call from this number at 4:11.  I answered, but there was no reply...

Soooo very sick and tired of it all.  Both the national and the state do-not-calls lists are jokes, JOKES!  Today (Sunday) four repetitious calls were placed from 206-496-0938 to home phone in Texas.   Caller ID noted Pacifictel.  I refuse to answer any number I do not recognize.  Of course, no messages are ever left.  The spammer jerks need to somehow be shut down.  I know nothing about reject buttons but am anxious to learn how to stop all this madness, please!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same old story! They caledl Sunday at about 330pm and then hung up after one ring. They apparently did not like what they heard from my cell phone.

where do they find idiots of this caliber??  They've got to be digging pretty deep to find people this stupid.  Making some feeble attempt at working a credit card scam.  I tried to chat, but they hung up on me ;)

This is the second week in a row I have received a call on a Sunday from a number I don't recognize even though I indicated I don't want to be called again.

This number called me during Sunday service at church.  I don't know it either.

Here's the answer to all our prayers.  Telemarketers almost exclusively use "autodialers" to make their calls.  One out of a thousand will have live reps doing the dialing.  When these dialers connect (you answer the phone) they listen for any "tones" generated.  If no "tones" are detected they then transfer the call to one of the reps in a call center.  "IF" the autodialer hears the 3 beeps from dialing a "DISCONNECTED" number, the number that was just dialed is automatically "REMOVED" from their list.  Below is a link that has this "tone" plus the verbal message.  You DO NOT need the verbal message.  Download or copy the "DISCONNECTED" MP3 or WAV file to your desktop.  Create or change the greeting you have when someone calls you and you're not available.  At the VERY BEGINNING of your message place the 3 tones (NOT THE VOICE MESSAGE) then continue with your usual or normal greeting.  The autodialer will hear the tones and BINGO, your number will be removed since they think it's a disconnected number.  DONE.  In a few weeks you will be removed from all the lists.  Of course you may have to explain the tones to the callers you DO want to speak to but that's a small tradeoff.  Pass this info on to anyone you know that gets junk calls or even help post this on these websites.  GET RID OF JUNK / SPAM CALLS.

This number 206-496-0938 is from the democratic party, doing some type of poll.  I told them I do not want to be contacted, but then 3 days later they're still calling!  I blocked them.

Got a call from 206-496-0938 Sunday afternoon. I didn't answer and no message left. These calls are so F'ing annoying!

I received this call 2:13 pm central time on Sunday 4/29/2012. They called once, and it went to the answering machine. Not thirty seconds later, they called again, and the answering machine received several beeps.
