It's a scam...they left a "message"-when I went to check that NO audio...DO NOT CALL BACK!

I just got a few calls from this number but didn't pick up. They called my office phone and left a message saying that they're a process server and need to make an appointment to serve me at work or home. They also said the issuing agent's number is 877-712-7693 and the file # 12-00325 but didn't say who the issuing agency is. I'm pretty sure it's a scam now that I'm reading about these Wells Fargo comments from others.

Hello everyone.  I've been getting calls from this number since December 25th 2013 and now in January 2014.  I am in Toronto, Canada and they claim they are calling from Mega Millions and that I won a cash prize!  This is definitely a scam, so please do NOT fall for it!!!

this number called me about a loan told him no asked who his name is said john there very rude not professional just trying to scam people they need to be stoped they call on different numbers had three different guys call and then a girl call me who ever this people are they need to be stoped

I received a message from this number claiming to be  from "UPS Delivery Service"  with a certified check to be delivered.  We are told to please call back 206-497-4219.  Caller ID comes from Seattle, Washington.  Called back just for ha-ha's, was answered by just a regular "hello".  I told him sorry, I have the wrong number, and immediately that number called back.  This time, they didn't leave a message.  Just hoping they stop calling.

Posed as publishers clearing house. Requested money to collect winnings. This person acts very friendly but is a scammer!

Mom just phoned to say she got a call from the above number.  They claim she has 3.1 million in an account waiting to be paid to her.  She wasn't born yesterday but the a****ole keeps calling her!  She's on the do-not-call list.  Frustrating that they are targeting the elderly who may 'need' the money.

I feel so used, guys watch out for the name " mary forklis" i had a personals on C L and was reached by this person supposably interested in me , we talked for 1 month, than all of a sudden she was stuck in nigeria with no way to grt back to the U S A   ,,,, let me keep it short .the hotel was holding her passport until the bill was paid,,, iwas ready to help but 1 st i wanted her ticket # which i checked and found to be void then she gave me a contact #can you guess you guess which one?     yup !! 206 497 7885   so this # is being used for more than 1 type of scam

I got this same text but saying it is from Woodstone Credit Union.  The text was from phone number 402-913-4823 but asking us to respond to the 206-497-7885.

Also got contacted by Woodstone C.U. This was via SMS - "WOODSTONE C.U. ALERT: Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED. Please call us at 206-497-7885." This SMS was sent from the TN 612-747-6254 though. I received the Wells Fargo call about a month ago and gave them random numbers to see if it would accept it which it did. Sounds like they are doing round 2 now.

Got a call today saying my card is deactivated from the company Woodstone C.U.. It's a scam!!! be ware.....

Got the same wells fargo scam on Oct 5th....  Same number.

Same thing here, don't even bank with them.

I received a text message on 10/12/11 saying it was from Wells Fargo Bank. I do not do business with WF Bank. The message indicated my card had expired and to call. I contacted WF Bank and confirmed it was a scam.

Me too! received an sms msg from 360 608 4839. Claimed to be Wells Fargo. I did the same thing as dick, left BS numbers...

Got that same thing this morning. So I called and left a bogus card number, exp date, and security code. Everyone should do that...

I live in Washington State, and just got the test message today from 206-497-7885. I am going to text back and tell them to BITE ME....LOL

Just got this text this morning I contacted my bank.. since I don't use my phone for banking..

my call came from 360-608-xxxx for card 4868XX - DEACTIVATED ( - my, oh, my!) and directs me to   contact them at 206-497-xxxx. Received on 10-11 at 11:33 am.  They're still out there.

its a scam.  I just got it as well.  Wells Fargo would never text you information indicating that your card has been deactivated.  Don't become a victim.

Got this txt today watch out people they are out there trying to get us dont let em so many people are not aware of these scams I feel sorry for them

Received a text indicating my WF card starting 4868 had been deactivated. I have no Wells Fargo cards. It's a fishing scam. Call came from 3606084839 asking me to call 2064977885.

I do have a WF account so it was a bit confusing, but yeah - scam.

Got that call today...scam to steal your number.

Rec'd this Wells Fargo Alert text message 10/9/2011, 7:35pm. My cell phone area code is 206. Text message sent from area code 360

Got the same bogus message today... "WELLS FARGO ALERT: Your CARD starting with 4868 has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at" 206-497-7885." I have never had a Wells Fargo credit card or account.

Got the same message tonight at 9:45. Text msg about my Wells Fargo card being deactivated. You'd think they could at least send the message out during normal banking business hours. Too bad I don't bank with WF...
