Trying to have owner on the phone or return his call

Annoying constant calls from "George Kelly."

Received the same call from a George Kelly. No identification. Came through on my cell phone with "Unknown" on the Caller ID.

The people making positive comments about this are most likely part of the scam also.

Their website say that...Only a fool would believe their website check them out with a reliable source. BS is right, It is a scam... pure and simple

I have been receiving these calls at my business location from Peter Carr.  If they were honest about who they are and what they are calling about, I might consider donating because it is a good cause for kids.  BUT, this practice of acting as if they are a client contact and the stern, clipped tone is very irritating and deceptive.

I also received a call from 206-545-4759 from a Jim Martin.  He used my husband's first name like they knew each other.  From reading the other comments above, I should let you know that this charity is not on the list of accepted charitible donations for a tax write off. So, thanks to all of you for the head's up.

I got 3 messages from this number and I was prepared to read them the riot act and then they reached me and I realized who they were, we've been getting My id club ID's from them for the kids every year before we go on vacation for over 10 years. Everybody knows about them. I can't remember their website but it lists where theyre doing id's each week. It lists like 200 events a year. Sounds like you guys are just trashing whoever calls without knowing who they are?

Also got call from "George Kelly" - cryptic - no other message, just asked for a call back.

I got called and donated $25.00. It was for a child id program. I have received these ids for my 3 children for the past 8 years since moving to Seattle. Its a great program, to bad they have to telemarket to raise money for it. Oh well the ids are well worth it. You people should do a little checking before condemning these people for what they are doing. I will donate again next time they call. Call me stupid but if you have young children, they are good to have.

George Kelly called--professional fundraiser.  Don't know if the agency he says he's raising money for even exists.

John Riley (Reily) called from this number and left a message @ my office to call him back.
Over the past few years I have been getting calls from the King County Police Union to help them out and this could be the guy.  Not sure.

Same here...George Kelly called me at my buisness trying to get me to donate $1 per kid that they're supposedly going to help with some sort of ID card or something...he mentioned $100 (or more). There's no way in hell I ever give money to a call out of the blue like that, and my research shows that their organization only contributes 0% (ZERO!) to the charity itself. This time the caller was Dave Barett... same strategy, voice mail said "Dave Barett calling for [my name], give me a call 206 545 4759". Suffice it to say he won't be getting a call from me...

Also got a cryptic call from George Kelly at this number.  Thanks to previous posts I will not be calling him back.  I'm all for police organizations in principle, but hiring professional fund raisers or allowing them to use your name, in which only a small minority of the dollars actually get to the widows, etc. violates my sense of decency.

Came home to two cryptic messages on my answering machine from this person "George Kelly" who only left his name and phone number and no reason as to the nature of this call.  I googled him w/ the number and found this posting thread, thanks for the information.  Seems very fishy.  Plus, I am on the do-not-call list, so things like this especially bother me.
