Okay Ctel is working on behalf of PLD not Att they are not affiliated in anyway, all Pld Has is a Billing Arrangment With USBI which is Atts' Billing company thats why you will still only recieve one bill from Att and Make one payment to att only. Now when you talk about the unlimited plan sometimes you dont make enough long distances calls the only way to find that out is to add your minutes up and round them off to the next min like a call that 1:01 is calculated as 2min then divide it into your monthly payment minus the taxes you pay and that comes out to be your per minute rate. Now if you are in a contract you wil be pentalized by att for breach of contract. But Ctel is not PLD nor Att they are an independent telemarketing Company. If you do not want their calls simply ask them to please put you on their do not call list and by fcc regulations they have to but get your reps first name if the calls continue ask to spk to a manager and if the floor manager doesnt put you on the DNC list then go above their head and ask for the Call Center Mgr.

It's a long distance telemarketing scam!!! They tried to make it look like they were calling on behalf of my current phone company (AT&T) and almost recorded an authorization to have me switch my long distance service to theirs. They were super sneaky by making me think they were doing on behalf of AT&T and that the details would be included in my next phone bill. FREAKEN SCAMMERS!!! THEY CAN DIE AND GO TO HELL!!!

I received a call from them claiming they were working with At&t to lower my long distance rates because AT&T was raising my existing rates. I had just switch our company's plan to save us some money. Her name was April and all she wanted to do was argue with me about what service I actually have. I switched us over to the unlimited local and long distance with AT&T about 2 months ago. She said to me "Did the person that set you up on that plan tell you that you do not make enough long distance calls to be on the plan?". I asked her why she insists on arguing with me about my phone service and hung up on her.

call came from 706-264-5580  CTEL was on  the caller ID. Person claimed to be from AT&T and stated that we were paying too much in taxes as we have multiple phone lines.  Only have one line.  Checked with AT&T who helped identify this as a phishing scam. Possibly the same company as the 206 number.

I worked for the company C-Tel in Columbia Tn. It is a big scam. They had us lie to the customers that we are with their local telephone company and we can lower their rates for long distance and recieve one bill. The rates are higher and we lie to say it is a set low price. The manager Bert Christmonson was screwing all the trashy girls having them suck his p***s and wanted them to look at their toes. He is a fat freak. Do not sign up for Preferred Long Distance.

Number 206-629-8669 calls and hangs up. Return of call goes to a full voicemail box for 'Ezekiel'??

This number called me and hung up. I called back and got a mailbox for 'Ezekiel' that was full. I have no idea who is Ezekiel from nearby Seattle?!

Received call from 206-629-8669 and I did have someone pickup this time and it was AT&T trying to sell long distance service on one of our corp billings

206-629-8669 called and did not annouce themselfs - waited then hung.

They indentify themselves as AT&T customer service.  If confronted, they hang up on you.

SCAM these people LIE and claim to be representatives for at&t. they will hang up if you ask them questions and thesae also refuse to provide a call back number

I get them all the time. I just almost killed myself trying to answer my cell in traffic. All for a hang-up.

I get calls from this number all the time and they never leave a message.
The area code comes out of Seattle, Wa.
After Googling CTel, I found a company in Arizona with that name, but it is all 602 area code numbers.
