Good morning,

Please take a few moments and read my email carefully, I know it is long, but because I received too many emails, I will explain all the details about the car and the transaction.
At the moment I'm stationed in Bethesda, MD. making final preparations before deploying with the U.S. Convoy.
The car is already at our Military Logistic Department form Fort Belvoir, U.S. Army base near Bethesda, MD, crated and ready to go. The Logistic Department will deliver the car to your home. The shipping is free for you. Since the car is in a military base, with no access you can not go there and take it, only the Logistic Department can deliver it, because the car is in their custody. Shipping may take anywhere between 2 to 4 business days depending on the destination. All documents you need for ownership, manuals and bill of sale will be provided along with the car.
For the payment I would like to use eBay as a third party. They will keep your money into a protection account until you get the car and will release it to me after inspection period is over and you agree to keep the car. So, this is not a blind transaction, you can see the car before committing to buy and to eliminate any concerns you will have 7 days to inspect the car. If you decide not to keep it eBay will refund you the money, no questions asked, and shipping back will be my concern. I think this is more than fair for both of us.
If you're interested to conclude this purchase in a timely manner email me your Full Name and Shipping Address to open a case with eBay they will contact you to explain the entire procedure. I'll start the official procedure, and eBay will contact you about this. You'll receive important guidelines + instructions from them in the next 24 hours.

Same thing as everyone else here only the car type is different, 04 Nissan Altima.  The military doesn't hold personals nor ship to two places on deployment. Pictures were from a dealership which was easy to track. The VIN was offered up but showed an 05 not 04.  Lot of problems with facts on this listing.  Christine Jordan was my faux seller.

My wife requested information regarding a similar situation and received the email from the same address as the strings above.  Being in the military, it frustrated me and I am reporting to the appropriate authorities.

The following email was sent to the person involved:

My husband and I were just about to fall for the same scam regarding the Jeep Cherokee Loredo -$2000. Thankfully I am someone who does my homework before just sending my money to random people but this really is ridiculous.  I wanna know how many people this Jennifer Franklin person actually got to fall for it.  I feel bad for those who did lose their money because of scamming jerks like this.  I wish I could find a way to report her to the authorities. They nearly had me too.  BOTLO in Craigslist!!  I suspected something was wrong when they were claiming to want to use eBay as a third party and I saw the listing on Craigslist.  NOTHING listed on eBay that fit this story.  Tried to email "Jennifer" back to get her eBay contact and heard nothing back.  I knew it was a scam then.  Did a simple Google search and found these postings, so I figured I would add mine to the list.  Good luck on trying to find the party responsible for this scam; as they are quite crafty these days.

I made payment on 8/20/11 of $2476 through Western Union wire transfer for a 2004 Honda Civic Hybrid as advertise in Craigslist to one Mr. Chris Robinson claiming to be the financial agent for eBay with the seller claiming to be Gina Brooks who is a staff sergeant nurse working for the US military currently stationed in Bethesda MD and she is about to be deploy to Iraq. The Western Union receipt was fax to the above fax number and the last I heard from the seller via email was Sunday 8/21/11. The vehicle was supposed to have been shipped to my address in Raleigh, NC on Tuesday 8/23/11 but never made it to my address.
