Some extremely stupid female called from that number. Identified herself falsely as Debra Smith. Sounded like a 50 year old 8th grader, typical of Portland Maine. Mumbled something about how she was calling in regards to my office moving in the next couple of years. I told her she hadn't dialed a business she dialed a residence. You could hear the silence of severe confusion on the other end of the phone and then she says "Oh so don't you even have an office?". She was so stupid she didn't even understand that she wasn't calling a company. They must be buying the cheap company listings because my number used to belong to a business about 12 years ago.

My wife received 3 phones call within 2 hours from 207-347-3023.  Didn't leave a message.  I received call two days before from same number.  Said you may have won $25,000.00 but you did win one of 5 prizes plus would give you $25.00 gas money just to come to Hot Springs, AR to listen to a presentation.  Wasn't worth my time no matter what cause basically it all is a scam.  Didn't give name of company, just that we had signed up to win a Spider Cycle at McCain Mall in North Little Rock, AR.

It is not a raffle. You do not WIN anything. You get real scratch cards for your time spent with them and if you were listening they guarantee you get 2 of the 5 things not 1.

You gave them permission to call you when you signed the slip. If you want them to stop calling you then ask them to do so.

Ok so if anybody reads the slip they signed to enter to win their contest you would notice that you give them permission to call you. I decided to sign up anyway. My wife and I booked an appointment. We were promised to get a scratch card where we would win 2 prizes. The person also offered to give us $25 in gas. I am always skeptical of these types of things and asked a bunch of questions after they "verified" the information I gave them. They were honest and said that we had to qualify for the the gifts. They did not want us to drive to Portland and get turned away. So we showed up and went into a group seminar where they talked about their vacations. My wife and I were interested but couldn't afford it. When we were done we got to try a scratch card for $25,000 which we did not win. Then got another card and took home a new tablet and a digital camcorder. We also got the $25 in gas they promised us. All in all every that they told us was going to go on actually did. The other people on here calling them a scam are full of it.

Recieved a message from mike said I won a grand prize of 25, 000 . When I returned the call 207-347-3023 in portland mainei said this # was on my phone but no message i asked her what kind of company it was and the woman who answered was evasive she said I called a members only travel club I claimed to be on social security was poor and she apologized said they make mistakes sometimes so she didn't say she had a grand prize for me so has to be a scam

just got the call too, and i live in maine, have not called back as i assume it is a scam

I got a call from Nicole about $25,000 contest. I didn't answer. Just listened to the voicemail. But I also have not signed up for any contests so wonder where they are getting the info

Yup, same people called me last night saying the same thing that our entry had been chosen to be in the running for either $25,000 or a brand new snowmobile. We entered the contest in the Berlin mall, Berlin VT. I thought we just entered for the chance to win the snowmobile and was under the assumption that Land/Air out of Essex, VT was running the contest as it was their snowmobile displayed in the mall. I should have figured this is some sort of a scam but I didn't think Land/Air would associate with scam artists like Festiva Development Corp. Luckily I didn't give them any credit card info but I said I'd have to talk this over with my wife and they said they'll call back tonight. Now I know for sure that these guys are scammers!!!

Alden, agent 6685 called at 7:30 pm to state that a contest we had entered in The Berlin Mall in Berlin Vt had been picked to be inthe final running for 25,000.00 grand prize and tat we got a free 1 night stay in Porland Me. and a scratch ticket for 5 pricey items that we were guaranteed to win 2 for sure. I foolishly gave them a credit card number for 50.00 to hold the room for us . (Alden) stated that I would be reimbursed for the 50.00 when we got to Maine I knew bettr than to give out number but they new all my information on my raffle entry and I was so excited that I did not think ...Hi accomplis is named (Sarah)

I recieved a call, I knew when I filled out the entry form for the Mini Cooper I probably would, but my husband and I scheduled an appt. and went to the presentation. Surprize we won the TV! The staff was very friendly and everything we were told was very informative. It is not a scam, you get what they tell you.

Tell them you dont have a credit card they hang up.

I think I got scammed too at a local mall rafling off a snowmachine. Got a call from 207347-3023, claiming I won 1 of 5 prizes if I travel to Portland ME.  I think its a scam....any input from anyone would be appreciated.

Thanks for verifying that info about festiva....they've become really annoying in this town, and now on the net

Texted to win a contest at the Fox Run Mall.  Have gotten 2 calls from "justin" at this number.  It's funny that it is a Maine area code but "justin" has a strong southern accent. I am all set with scams/timeshares/fake scratch cards. I knew I shouldn't have bothered entering in the first place.  Always trust your intuition!

Got the same call and exact same words ....verifying me and my husband's name and address .......  stated where we had entered contest at ........wanted us to make an appointment for a seminar that takes 2 hrs then you get a scratch off card which gaurantees you a prize which all sound good then you get another scratch card to win the atv or 25000 ..............was very skeptical about the whole conversation so i came here to look up number and now see its a scam .............................thanks for your help ..............we will not be going to any meeting noww

I filled out a card to enter a drawing for a chance to win a Mini Cooper or $25,000. These entry forms were displayed in the waiting area of a local tire company I do business with. The next thing I knew, I started getting multiple phone messages from "Rose" at Festiva Dev 207-347-3023.  I thought perhaps I might be a winner, so I answered her latest call. She started out by asking me for personal information about members of my household ("Are you married?" "Is he your boyfriend?") I told her I thought her questions were way too personal, invasive, and had nothing to do with my entering their drawing - in other words, not her business. She persisted, saying she needed to get more information from me. I asked "why" and asked if I had won the drawing which she evaded answering. I told her not to call again. I Googled both Festiva and the phone number she called from. The results were eye-opening and scary to say the least!  Rose even used the name of the tire business I entered the drawing at. I will be calling them tomorrow to ask if they are aware of what can happen when their trusting customers enter this drawing. I'm not usually this naive. I won't be again. Festiva is a telemarketer. DON'T GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION TO PEOPLE YOU DON'T KNOW!!!

recieved a call stating that i was a prize winner. i have to attend a 2 hr. seminar, and bring a credit card(not debit) along with a checking acct. check. My self working with law enforcement ran this Co. and came up with 8 hits in Rip Off reports. This is a Co. that wants you to sit for 2 hours in a deal. I asked what if we did not want to hear it, then your out the door with no prize. I stated to them that you can give ANY form of I.D( Govt., drivers licence). to be  legal. credit cards and  check book do not  qualify as a form of I.D. Now in a search, they transfered me to someone else, who has the same phone number as the origional number? two people in the same number? one more check, it is a promotion for a Co. hang up when you are told that you won any thing.!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone called me and said that my husband and I won 1 of 5 prizes, but we had to go to New Orleans to claim it . We would need provide a check stub, debit card, and/or a blank check with our information whited out.

called our house phone and stated that we won money and gas cards and a bunch of crap.  wanted us to go to portland SCAM

I knew this was a scam they just called my husband and told him he won 10000 and that he had to go to portland to sign up and scratch a card

I just a call from this number.  They said I registered at a chinese eatery in Saco.  I have never been to a chinese eatery in Saco. He was trying to get more information from me.  He stated that the information was not legible.  This was for a camaro or $25000.  I told him that he was fraudulent. He then hung up. The number came across on caller ID as Festiva Devel.  I looked up the company time shares.

This number has been calling me every day, sometimes 3 times a day for 4 months now! They never leave a message. They called at 9pm tonight so I waited until it was after midnight to call back to find out who it was that had such a ha!don for me.

Festiva Resort/Timeshare Vacation Rentals is who!! They want me to come to some scam presentation claiming to give me prizes if I do. I just want them to stop calling me. Please! I am already on the Do Not Call List!
