Received this text: 917-543-9679 Private Bank SVFW alert 412879. Please call 207-449-1133. Wish there was something we could all do to shut these people down.

Recieved text from the same number, a 917 told to call back 217.449.1133 said it was a EJLE alert from a private bank. Tried to call temm back and said mailbox is full. Wtf is that and why would they send that to me. I would like to know what this is. And what there up to!

Got a text from Unverified sender, 9176283695 Privatebank, ZMBR 747338 alert telling me to call 207 449-1133 received today

I have a 917# and have gotten about 10 calls now asking about the texts. Looks like some kind of scam that pirated cell #'s to send the bogus texts instead of the more common email spam

Conclusion: OBVIOUS spam / phishing attempt.

Just received the exact same text as you. The number it was sent from is 917-629-5785. What does JACF mean?

I got a text message instructing me to call this phone number.  The text came through as "Unverified Sender", but the message named "Private Bank."  It is a number telling callers that their credit card has been locked, and instructs the caller to press 1 to fix the problem.
