i have for for weeks tried to stop the automated calls they are ruud and relentles about calling

Don is absolutely right! I entered my number to be removed from their list and now receive even more calls from these a***oles. When I spoke with someone and asked why they keep calling after I requested to be removed from the list the rep hung up in my face.

SAme # calling me.. I have / had a distinctive ring #.. It used to be for some business.. they keep calling me. Asked to be removed.. kept calling.. I hit #2.. to be removed from the list.. that was today.. said screw it and just canceled my distinctive ring #.. rofls.. as im not using it atm... that should shut them up :).

There are a some devices out there.. that will block calls for you.. will check the caller id.. and do what youve programed it to do w/ the call.

Have recieved numerous calls from this number: 207-571-8865. I do not answer area codes I do not recognize, it goes to the answering machine and they hang up.  I am getting at least 2 calls a day that are similar to this and it drives me crazy...I'm busy, I try to get to the phone only to find out it's a call like this. My caller ID says Biddeford, ME.

I just got done talking to Verizon and they put these # on their blocked # list.

It only last for three months, but thats good for now..

They told me I could get top listing on some type of Google add. They call me every other day, I called there # and pressed #1 to be put on their do not call list, that didn't work.
I talked to someone  two different times and told them to stop calling me, that didn't work.
I tried to trace their #, I think it maybe in Cal.
Sure would like to give them a piece of my mind...

Another BS scammer. Didn't answer. Called number back and recording said to press 1 to be removed from their call list. I really don't understand the point of the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. I registered all of my numbers and still keep receiving these type of calls. I'm so f****** sick of this crap!!! The government sucks and obviously can't do anything right. We can send satellites into space but can't get control of all the telemarketers and scammers. This is why everyone should be against big government. They can't do s*** right!

By the way, telemarketers who are harrassing you also get on here and post numbers from there companys making it look like you called them intially, allowing them to have you lose in a court of law.  Beware of posters putting up numbers telling you to call that one to get them to stop.
The Do not call registry is a HUGE failure and invasion of our privacy!  Any LLC or other can buy this list!

Got a call to my business line.  They hung up when i picked up.  Seemed to be spam.

Yesterday's ROBO-call du juor was a man making it sound like Google itself was calling to assist in setting up free website and getting top of page search results. Local Lighthouse agent hung up when asked for his company name.

The message I got claimed they were Google themselves, and that I hadn't claimed my free website yet... I'd signed up for the Screenwise Panel, and today at the EXACT SAME TIME that I got this phone call, my $5 reward showed up in my email....  coincidence?

Just got a call.  Let it go to message and they hung up.  This is my business line.

Annoying spam caller

Robot [male voice] calling to say they can design a website that will appear at top of Google Yahoo, and Bing searches. It's Local Lighthouse from Tustin CA calling. Of course anyone who uses GoDaddy and domains by Proxy is probably trying to hide from unhappy call recipients/??? While writing this note a second ROBO call came in from same #, connects to Local Lighthouse.
