I received the same text from this scammer, ""This msg is abt ur ad online. Let me kmnow if u stil have it/confirm the price 2 my mail: meetalexbanx @gmail .com. Email only, am using online msg facility." in response to my ad on cars.com

Another phone number is 703-672-8930 with the same email meetalexbanx@gmail.com and the same message: "This msg is abt ur ad online. Let me kmnow if u stil have it/confirm the price 2 my mail: meetalexbanx@gmail.com. Email only, am using online msg facility." Watch Out!

NEW PHONE # 410-429-7422 WITH SAME EMAIL: meetalexbanx@gmail.com.
This is a VoIP phone which means it is disposal. It is from "410-429-7422 VoIP phone from Reisterstown, MD" This person is a con-artist. Same SMS message on my phone as before for my Harley on CycleTrader.
Message: "Hi, this msg is abt ur ad on cycletrader.Pls confirm the availabity/price 2 my email: meetalexbanx @gmail.com. No sms because I'm using internet sms facility."
Using your email to "reply to" can help ID you and maybe give this person something to use for Identity Theft.

Trying to sell a car with online, I was approached by SMS messaging and then email by someone giving the name Alexander W. Banks using the email address meetalexbanx@gmail.com
He wrote saying:

an Alexander W. Banks on LinkedIn with an ID www.linkedin.com/in/alexbanx00
