Sen.( Utah ) Mike Lee is tying up my phone for hours   GET HiM OUT OF MY LIFE!!

Getting an automated call about the Charles Djou campaign and of course you cannot get any LIVE person to get your number removed from the list. Had to leave a message at his campaign headquarters and I hope someone calls back to resolve this. Politicians are moronic enough, but to get phone calls daily from a computer is over the top. These calls slip through the do not call registry like snakes and I know I am not the only one sick and tired of it. Too bad it doesn't come up as a private number because the call would not even go through on my phone since I have blocked those calls. If no one from his campaign calls me back today, I will be filing a complaint on them.

Please vote for me in November, Or I will keep harassing you with unwanted calls.

Let me know if the office of Charles Djou calls you back. Because my elderly grandmother keeps getting this calls as well. The phone number it is coming from is from 208 515 7488 which is from Boise, ID. If not, where might you suggest making the complaint to? Attorney General's office? or?

These people are calling me four times a day, and I'm sick of it, sometimes as late as 9:30 pm for a survey. This has been going on for two years. They'll stop awhile and then start calling again in a month or so.  When I find out who they are, I will file a lawsuit for harrassment, elderly abuse and everything else my attorney can find. I've done it before and won the lawsuit and will do it again. I do not answer the phone and they don't leave a msg.

Over the past few days i have received a call from this number about once a day. I never answer it. They must not go by the Federal Do Not Call List because I am on it. Now that i know what it is after googleing it i will be fieling a complaint and i suggest all others do as well.

I have received these calls as well, but not as frequently.
However the 'do not call' list only applies to commercial businesses, telemarketers, etc.,  It does NOT apply to opinion polls, political, or charitable calls.  So complaining to the do not call list will be of no help.

I've not answered this caller, but they call during the evenings on weekdays and sporadically during the day on weekends. Like others note, they obviously don't follow the law regarding do not call. I'm getting one to two calls a day and am getting tired of this.

This number keeps calling and i will not answer they say they are a public opinion survey and may call back.  Wish they would STOP I will NOT answer the phone.

did not answer phone as did not recognize number. caller id said "boise, idaho". have donated to a campaign there, so must be getting encouraged to vote even tho i live in different state. just did not answer and they hung up. only one call so far.

Called on June 28 at 6:16 pm. Will not stop calling.

Regardless of your beliefs politically, what better way to sway your votes in the wrong direction!  Since when does a resident in another state vote for an out of state candidate?

I have received a call from the above # for approximately the past 6 weekdays. I don't answer because it's not anyone I recognize. The caller is listed as AIC2010RESP. I don't know who that is. A recorded message is left stating that the call is regarding a survey. Then it is stated that they will call back because they missed us. I filed a complaint @ donotcall.gov.

I was told that Political Parties,"Charities", Pollsters, companies you did business with - are EXEMPT from the provisions of the Do Not Call List. Nearly useless, if you ask me!

Called twice yesterday and today from 208-515-7488. It was a recorded survey from "Survey 2010" asking me about Congressman Bud Shuster, the Tea Party Republicans, etc. and whether I will vote for Shuster. I called the number back and got a busy signal. Filed a complaint at donotcall.gov today.

Please tell this caller not to ever call us again in Mesa, AZ.

Been getting calls from this number all weekend.  ID shows AIC2010RESP.  I never answer and they have been leaving messages that they are calling for a public survey and will call back later.  I wish they wouldn't.  This is harassment and it has to stop!  Since they say it is a survey, they don't have to abide by the Do-Not-Call list.  Too bad.

Got pre recorded message asking if anyone was over 65. Then asked if anyone was on Medicare. Then asked if anyone had back pain. They may be masquerading as a polling outfit, but the questions they asked lead me to believe they want to know enough about you so they can try and sell you something or sell your information to a company who will try and sell you something.

Report this to the FCC as an abandoned call. Their definition of an abandoned call is the following:

An abandonded call is a telemarketing call that is not connected to a live representative within 2 seconds after being answered by a live person. If you receive an abandoned call you may hear dead air or clicking sounds sometimes followed by a prerecorded message or a hang up.

The more complaints they get, the more they will look into the situation.

I keep receiving calls from this number and I have a do not call phone number.  They won't leave a message and when I call back no answer.  If it rings I get either hung up on or it changes to a fast busy signal.

Of course, the key word here is "telemarketing".   If they don't try to sell you something (or get you to call back and sell you something) then this entire paragraph is completely irrelevant, as is any other quote from the TCPA.   Political calls, surveys, collections are all completely exempt from the FCC/FTC's *telemarketing* rules.   So you can dig up all the stuff you want from the FCC's telemarketing rules but it won't apply and you are wasting people's time with pointing them at this or the national do-not-call registry.

If the calls are excessive (and they ignore your requests to not be called), you may be able to file a harassment complaint, but that's a different type of issue and is covered by a different area of the law.

I've received a mid-afternoon call on two consecutive days now from this number. I wasn't here, but a message was left, asking if I am registered to vote and indicating that the caller might call again. Weird.

i have caller id so i don't know anyone there.  glad to see am not the only one.  who do we gove this number to to get them to stop?

this caller has called me 3 times in the past 2 days i did not pick up nd they did not leave a message.. i did look up the 208 area code nd found out the caller is from Idaho

This # started calling our house phone 06/25, followed by about 20 min. to all our cell phones on our Verizon plan the same day that I did an upgrade with Verizon.  The fact that all our cell phones ring at the exact same time leads me to believe there has to be a connection to verizon giving it out.  We are also on a "No Call" list and the only calls that have ever come through before-in the past-to our cell phones were connected to verizon sales calls!

Not pleased with the continual calls from this number.
